Saw some funny memes on the door to door vaccine nuttery

Pepe the Frog, a cartoon character popular with alt-right campaigners and some Donald Trump supporters, has been declared a hate symbol by the Anti-Defamation League.

The green icon has increasingly been appropriated for racist or bigoted internet memes and gained traction in the online postings of white supremacists and alt-right campaigners.


It was recently included in an image posted on Instagram by Donald Trump’s eldest son. The Republican White House hopeful has also tweeted a version of the frog resembling Donald Trump.

Those below are just European figures , and it is universally acknowledged that reported adverse effects can account for as few as 1% of actual total .
That is , the 17000 dead could actually be anywhere between 175000 ( assumes only a 10% response ) to any higher figure up to 1, 750, 000 .

Injuries could be in excess of many millions and up to 100 + million .

The scientific evaluation needs to show that a vaccine’s benefits in protecting people against diseases are far greater than any potential risk.

At the time of approval, the main body of evidence for vaccine safety and efficacy comes from large controlled, randomised clinical trials. Selected volunteers are randomly allocated to receive the vaccine being tested and followed up under controlled conditions in line with strict protocols.

After approval, many people will receive the vaccine. Certain rare or very rare side effects may only emerge when millions of people are vaccinated. EU law requires that the safety of vaccines is monitored while they are in use in routine clinical practice.

I have many friends who thought Covid was a hoax or not a big deal. Well they have changed their tune, one was hospitalized and mear death and others had family members die.

Obviously they all voted and loved Trump. Almost killed them.
 
Republicans used to get their opinions from bumper stickers. Now they get them from Facebook memes.

NO ONE is saying the government will knock your door down and force a vaccine on you.

THIS is another dishonest and disingenuous thread to whine and moan and complain about a genuine effort to get people to get vaccinated.

IF YOU don't want to get vaccinated, tell the person who comes to your door to get lost, but there are people in rural areas, or people who are shut-ins or seniors who don't know how to use the internet that might appreciate someone coming to their door to explain how and where to get the vaccine


Instead the whiners and moaners are promoting this idea, via memes, that the government is going to knock your door down and force the vaccine on you.

Why is it IMPOSSIBLE to have a discussion on any topic with a Rightwinger? Because of hyperbole, semantics, angry retorts, FOX FED lies, and just plain not caring.

IT AIN'T ABOUT YOU! GET OVER IT! Someone else might appreciate having someone come to the door. IT IS NOT FOR YOU to decide if THEY want that visit, it is only for YOU to decide for YOURSELF what you want. GOT IT?
