The network confirmed that Ms. Palin would appear on the network’s programming on a regular basis as part of a multiyear deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Ms. Palin will not have her own regular program, one person with knowledge of the deal said, though she will host a series that will run on the network from time to time
good god......stewart and colbert will have a field day. This should be some good comedy.

a treasure trove of tripe.I know...They should just change the name from FAUXNews to FoxComedy channel.
oh brother.....:roll:In a continued tradition of offering nonpartisan balanced news FoxNews has signed Sarah Palin on as an official contributor in a multi-year contract. We can now look forward to Palin's Alaskan view, or "view from Alaska", on many topics from Russia to parenting.

I wonder if the contract expires by early 2011?
It will be interesting to watch. Palin did not do well with the media during the campaign (although I believe the media was very unfair to her) but she did do well in the Oprah interview. I think giving her her own air time could show the better side of her.
Either way, this was a smart move by Fox News. Whether Palin is considered a great Conservative or a train wreck, she is a very popular person and should bring in solid ratings, especially on Fox.
I still don't get how there are Republicans who can say with a straight face that anybody of any political ideology left of center is afraid of this woman. She has gone from being a sensation to trying to stay relevant. Kind of sad. But whatever. I wish her luck on FOX News.
and her husband. The only people afraid of Palin are the moderate normal Republicans that are trying to save their party from the fringe.

To be fair, this is a coup for Fox. I think any of the news channels would have loved to land her for a program like this, it is guaranteed ratings. It's also good for her, as it gives her time to work on her second biggest weakness, which is presentation.
As long as they can pre-tape, edit out her idiotic remarks and pre-write her questions/answers....she'll do fine.
You mean like the Teleprompter in Chief?
Hope she don't quit on 'em mid broadcast...:2razz:

Actually Clinton, Reagan and Bush Sr. were all adept and fluid without a teleprompter. Bush Jr. and Obama not so much.:lol:Is that Bush, Clinton, Bush Senior, Reagan?

You are not paying attention, I never said they don't all use them. I said three names on that list of five were all able to converse with skill without a teleprompter. Bush Jr. and Obama not so much. So if it is your claim this is not the case get to proving your point. Or you could pay attention to what was posted next time...........Why bother to make an argument when you can just make **** up?
They all used it.
The "teleprompter" nonsense is just an idiotic partisan talking point. Attacking the fact that the President doesn't have time to memorize every speech he gives... Talk about desperation.
