“You’ve just abandoned the Reagan Democrats with this amnesty bill.”
“It was the loss of working class voters in swing states that cost us the 2012 election, not the Hispanic vote.”
“Legal immigrants respect the rule of law,”
“You disrespect Hispanics with your assumption that they desire ignoring the rule of law.”
Reagan Democrats, southern social 'conservatives' who fear anyone who isn't hetero, christian, northern european- though of late EYE-talians are included on a provisional basis, but embraces putting a cross on every Governmental building and restoring 'traditional' values...
Working class voters were lost last election cycle because of 47 percent and corporations are people too attitudes from the GOP. Some will fear a large pool of semi-skilled labor because they spent many school days smoking meth/spice/K2 or whatever instead getting an education- hey it is the same 'reason' the right uses when discussing the working class qualifying for food stamps- they should have worked harder in school and got a better education.
Legal immigrants can AFFORD the rule of law.
Palin disrespects Hispanics by ASSuming they don't want laws more in tune with reality and don't see current system as designed to allow them in as second class citizens.
I see Palin, Bachmann, and Paul as Manchurian Candidates planted in the GOP to restore Democrat 'happy days' in political power.
Sarah Palin had harsh words for the GOP establishment who voted for immigration reform, saying they “disrespect Hispanics” by passing the bill. “Great job, GOP establishment,” began the statement Palin posted on Facebook on Friday. “You’ve just abandoned the Reagan Democrats with this amnesty bill.” The Senate passed a bipartisan immigration reform bill on Thursday 68-32. Fourteen Republicans voted for the legislation, which has been characterized as a way for the GOP to increase its appeal among a traditionally Democratic base: Hispanics.
Palin disagreed with this perspective, writing: “It was the loss of working class voters in swing states that cost us the 2012 election, not the Hispanic vote.” “Legal immigrants respect the rule of law,” Palin continued. “You disrespect Hispanics with your assumption that they desire ignoring the rule of law.”
Palin has been outspokenly critical of immigration reform in recent days, criticizing Republicans who support the bill, including Marco Rubio and Kelly Ayotte. as well as the content of the legislation. Her statement on the Corker-Hoeven border security amendment, posted to Facebook on Monday, is titled “Holes in the Border As Big As the Holes in Their Amnesty Bill.”

Yep, everyone be afraid. Youbetcha!!!!
Reagan Democrats are the worst. Even if you're a rock-ribbed conservative Republican, you should dislike them. They're rust belt populists, protectionists through and through. They oppose illegal immigration for the same reason their tribunes (Rick Santorum) supported Bush's steel tariffs: they hate competition.
They aren't Southern Democrats, mind, but they're certainly not laissez-faire classical liberals, either. Bush II created Medicare Part D just for them.
In a word, they're Big Government Conservatives. And Deport 'Em All is a Big Government proposition.

Good for her. I agree.
Too bad she endorsed McCain in 2010. Or that she supported Rubio, who as Florida speaker constantly worked to stymy workplace enforcement laws.
The question I have is why is there no concern about securing the border? Seriously, to me that seems like the ONE logical thing that everyone should agree on but somehow "securing the border" has become code for "you're a racist".
What's so god damned racist about not wanting people to be able to flood into this country illegally?
The GOP has made itself almost as foolish as the demonrats.
Sarah who?
Was she suppose to bite, kick, and scream at the people giving her a chance to become president?
The great GOP will forever regret Sarah Palin.
Sarah who quit her job as governor of a State like it was a part-time gig flipping burgers.
The current bill has over $30 billion to secure the border in it. How much more can you spend?
Get a shovel. If youre going to pedal bull**** at least make it believable, you have never had anything positive to say about the GOP.
You cant incur a half a million in legal bills flipping burgers.
I think you are selling sarah short. I bet she could screw up flipping burgers enough to get 500k in legal bills. I believe in Sarah and so should you.
