A Rwandan immigrant in France already under investigation for setting the Nantes cathedral on fire last year has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a Roman Catholic priest, prosecutors said on Monday.

The 40-year-old man surrendered to police mid-morning and admitted to killing the head of the religious congregation where he was staying as he awaited trial for the cathedral fire.

I hope that the French people will elect leaders who will take firm action to stop what is happening in their country.

In our country, however, (reputedly) 80,000,000 Americans voted to ratify the violence that has been raging for a year and a half.

The body of Olivier Lemaire was found in the village Saint-Laurent-sur-Sèvre, a small village in the Vendée area, on Monday morning, French media report.
They say a failed asylum seeker from Rwanda who was being housed by the priest later turned himself in and confessed to the killing.
The man is also suspected of starting a fire that damaged the cathedral in the nearby city of Nantes in last year.

Somebody set fire to the Cathedral of Nantes.
This person then was given shelter by a priest.
Now this person has killed the priest, who had helped him.

These news are news-worthy, whether this person is white or red or rosé - or any other colour.
