Russia is Expecting BAD News Tomorrow

You are right most of the $300 billion is in euro banks. I should have said $5 billion is what Trump was possibly going to tap for aid to Ukraine. As usual he chickened out of that and gave Putin another 50 days to string him along.

I agree. My impression is that the 50 day threat cannot be very reassuring to Europe or Ukraine. It smacks more of reluctance than determination to act.

Russia is out producing the nation's supplying Uktraine
But what % of that is actually reaching Russian troops on the front?

Ukraine blasts the shit out of trains carrying equipment, storage facilities & factories in Russia all the time.

and getting more results per dollar spent.

Really? Last year, they lost at least 27 troops for every square kilometer gained.

At the start of the war, losses happened in waves during battles for key locations, but 2024 saw a month-on-month increase in the death toll as the front line slowly edged forward, enabling us to estimate that Russia lost at least 27 lives for every square kilometre of Ukrainian territory captured.

They hold 1/5th of Ukraine's territory and are still gaining.

Russia's being beaten back in Sumy Oblast.
Russia has yet to take Pokrovsk & they've been going for that for a year now.
Ukraine continues to nut-punch groupings of soldiers & gear almost daily.

So....gaining what?

The "groundbreaking" part of today's meeting was that Trump is finally willing to sell weapons to europe to help Ukraine. Believe it or not before today he has refused to take any money for weapons even though it will boost our GDP, improve our trade deficits and employ 100's of 1000's of American in good paying jobs. That idiocy is what really shows Trump's reluctance. Also the 50 days comes from Putin bragging on the phone that he would take all of the territories he wanted in 60 days . Trump is still believing that serial liar and war criminal. Putin's summer offensive is a bust and everyone but Trump knows this. The over 100,000 dead Russians in 2025 alone know it too.

Russia should know this very well. The Germans tried to bomb Stalingrad into submission during WWII. The city was reduced to rubble. But when German ground forces came in to "mop up" they were the ones who got mopped.

It also helped that Hitler's marbles started falling out of his head around that time.

LOL Do you know how many Russians died in the battle of Stalingrad? 1.1 MILLION. Stalin's tactic of victory at any cost is what Putin is using in Ukraine. The Russians have over 100,000 dead so far in 2025. The will lose a million men in this war and that hardly can be called a victory no matter what the outcome. Russia has spent itself out of existence and will never recover.

I said Putin is genocidal maniac. Stop sugar coating a war criminal that sent 600 drones and missiles into Ukraines cities to kill women and children.
Sugar coating nothing just not using melt down tween girl language.

Putin is an iron fisted ruler trying to expand his empire he is not a genocidal maniac.
He, like Netanyahu, is a war criminal. That part you got right.

So what's the Terrible News Putin got today?

Tariffs.
In 50 days, if the war isn't over by then.
And no consequences if he escalates bombings before then.

:rolleyes:
And in 50 days he will get another 50 days.

no, i want both sides to go back home and celebrate christmas this year.

but that IS NOT gonna happen, they have shown us that this promise of the 'War over in 24 hours' aint gonna happen.

and it CAN happen. but it was all a Lie.

Dark Maga walked in with a different plan, the details are all on the net and there is Zero plans for peace this year.

so forget about it.

sure enuf, they will announce some treaty and break that one i feel. sorry wish i could tell you better, but not in the cards.

War Takes Everything
.
The only chance for peace in Ukraine is for Russia to be defeated. That will take a concerted effort by all Ukraine's allies but it is possible. Russia has lost many wars before.

No that is not even news. TACO will always chicken out we all know that. The bad news for Putin is that Trump is finally willing to sell arms to europe for Ukraine. That is huge.

i can see why this war not gonna end very well or toooo soon.

no we need to walk away and defend america, the Russians can run ukraine and have done so for years. if i can ask millions of dead soldiers i think they would all agree...

and then go back to farming.

Do you even know what genocide is and why Putin has been indicted for genocide by the world court? Putin refuses to recognize Ukraine as a country and in the territories he has captured the Ukrainian language is banned and all books written in Ukrainian are burned. Then there is the kidnapping of Ukrainian children who are sent far into Russia to be raised as Russians. Does any of that give you a clue?

Article 2 of the Geneva Convention defines genocide as:
Any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:

(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

There is no such indictment

Demilitarizing Ukraine. It's not about territory.

Russia is bombing Ukraine pretty much at will at this point. Apparently they have more than enough which is evident on the battlefield.

After a year of trying, Russia still has not captured Pokrovsk.

The Russian military colossus turns out to be a throwback army of attrition and war crimes.

Going so low as to conscript women prisoners. Who does that?

So how are those Russian oil refineries doing?

Demilitarizing is one of the goals not conquering the country. They've been clear about that for years and they tactics reveal as much.

Both sides.
