NO, I'm not kidding you, and I am speaking in terms of the entire country when I say that, but it applies here as well. Sure, a few will have to rub it in, but that's just par for the course. Just look at the thousands of posts about Rove, then count the posts about how ignorant, deceitful, and wrong you that judged him were. You just won't see that sort of anger, venom, and total waste of energy from the conservatives in this way.

Hoot, I totally agree. I am not sure if I said this already, but I would be embarrassed to have someone like Karl Rove on my side. He wins by demonizing the other party, and his demonization is mean spirited and inaccurate. Frankly, I would rather lose than have him on my side.

Dick Morris bashes the left now, but he was Clinton's chief strategist in his first presidential election, that is before he was kicked out because of a sex scandal.

All three have done as bad or worse than Rove ever thought about, especially Carville.

That's not it at all. Gill, I was NOT into politics until 2000 and even then not truly into it until the 2004 election time (early 2004). So back when Bill Clinton was president, I have no idea what kind of tactics his people were playing. I just wasn't interested back then. However, even if the democrats were playing the same kind of nasty games as Karl Rove (which I doubt--he is in a league of his own), it shouldn't take away from my feelings about Rove's tactics. While you could perceive me as being a hypocrite, that would be an incorrect assumption. But even if I was a hypocrite, why would that make my opinion any less credible?

This is the biggest problem I have with the Dems.
