"Rotherham Council's entire leadership has resigned following the publication of a damning report into the town's child sexual exploitation scandal. An independent report, ordered by Communities Secretary, Eric Pickles, concluded that the local authority was "not fit for purpose" after finding it has a culture of "bullying, sexism, suppression and misplaced 'political correctness"'.

Following the publication of the report, which was written by Louise Casey, Rotherham Council's ruling Labour cabinet issued a statement annoucing the entire leadership was stepping down."[...]

At last, a report that provides the evidence to bring prosecution to those inept officials:

"the National Crime Agency (NCA) announced its ongoing investigation into child sexual exploitation in Rotherham was to be extended in the light of Miss Casey's findings.
The NCA said it will "examine a number of potentially criminal matters identified during a recent inspection of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council". [...]

"As a Cabinet, whatever the details, as the political leadership of the council we must take responsibility. We therefore announce our intention to resign our positions as soon as transitional arrangements can be put in place."
Moments after the resignations were announced, Communities Secretary, Eric Pickles announced that the "wholly dysfunctional" council leadership was to be replaced by Government Commissioners" [...]

I feel these recent developments deserve a new thread. ONE testimony stood out for me, when a young victim said "two police officers came in and saw a group of Asian men, most half dressed; and me with only my top on" to walk around the room and say "nothing to see here". Totally sickening, but with these revelations, we can see why NO action was taken. IN yet another report, we find Political Correctness has played its part. Hopefully, this now puts to bed those who doubt those who have said this, from the start. I will add, living in the UK, what is going on in some of these cities? So many people need to hang their head in shame.

People are still in denial over the reasons for this.

Anyone who every expirienced urban Europe will know that there is a culture of disregard and hostility within the muslim community directed against european values and especialy against european women.

And the amount of media coverage, has not driven home the scale of the abuse? BS this Labour run council was complicit, to the abuse.

While the rest of the country was shocked at the findings, this bunch of jokers were busy trying to lay the blame elsewhere or pretend it was a media inspired conspiracy.

"A police officer understood to be under investigation by a watchdog in relation to the Rotherham child abuse scandal has died following a car crash.

South Yorkshire PC Hassan Ali, 44, died in hospital nine days after he was hit by a car in Sheffield on 28 January.

Mr Ali was being investigated by the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) over allegations made about him, the BBC understands."

"Labour councillor in Rotherham is under investigation by the party for his alleged use of bullying and intimidation to stifle discussion of the town’s sex-grooming scandal.

Mahroof Hussain, who announced his resignation from the authority yesterday, is the subject of complaints from a fellow Labour councillor and another member of the local party, relating to separate incidents last year."

The layers are starting to unfold.

"Twenty more people have been charged with sexual offences as part of police’s Operation Sanctuary probe.

The charges follow the 13-month investigation into allegations of offences committed against vulnerable women and girls across the North East.

So far, 31 people have been charged as part of the operation and the latest charges relate to 12 victims, aged between 13 and 25."

So much for many coming on here defending these 'mainly Asian men' as simple 'bad apples' not indicative of the wider 'mainly Pakistani male community'. Not at all shocking, or surprising for those that have taken the issue seriously.

There are just so many levels to the sort of Authoritarian leftist way of viewing the world that one hardly knows where to begin. The Rotherham Council (which should be in jail for their complicity in the matter) may be one of the more egregious examples, but until people adopt the attitude that the same expectations should apply to all people equally and desist with all the hypocritical b.s., then the status quo will only continue.

The problem has to do with the narrative, and the narrative states that only white people can be racist and people of color are automatically exempt. Even with something so heinous as the systematic rape of children as a product of their sense cultural supremacy, people are still loathe to call it what it is. The mere act of telling the truth about it is still considered "Islamophobic" by far too many, as the level of conditioning is still too much to overcome for people to see the truth of the matter.

These men are repulsive misogynists as a product of their culture, want no part of liberal British ways, and have been laughing at British weakness as they systematically degrade the most vulnerable among you in order to thumb their noses at you. It is so effing OBVIOUS that only an idiot would fail to see it for the revolting expression of racism it is, yet there are still those whose knees can only jerk in unison and who find ways to explain it away. Oddly enough, the vast majority of these numb nuts actually imagine themselves as being against racism even as they champion it in spades through their attitudes.

Islamic immigration is taking over Europe so the people had better be prepared for more of this and terrosim as well. There is no way pf knowing how man of those people are part of ISL, Boko Haram, or any of their offshoots. Perhaps the Muslims will welcome multiculturalism with as much enthusiasm as their hosts did.

Very worrying, but not surprising considering the history of this abuse. What I found more troubling was a report by CH4 News, at the end of last year, where girls were saying a lot of the perps are still walking the streets and continuing as nothing has happened. Hopefully, the recent developments will bring more to justice. With such large numbers in 'one town' I wonder when we'll reach the tipping point where it will be the non-abusers in the minority! Remember, this number is in relation to Rotherham only.


There is very little worth adding to that, but, I'd say there are integral parts of this very narrative that help build the picture, as to why second and third generation Muslims are off fighting for the black flag.

I suspect that the apparent indignation of many of these posts is more about right/left than any concern about paedophilia and why young, white, working class children appear to be easy prey for sex criminals.

I think Will was being more general. Unfortunately there is a ring of truth that politics will always come into policy and discussion.


I think a lot of violence against women is being investigated more thoroughly after shameful reports about how low the rape prosecution rates are across the board in this country.

Well, I can only hope that does include sex abuse such as this..

.....but when I describe the enablers of the rape gangs, if he wants to stand up and take his share of the credit, he's certainly free to do so.

How do you deal with violence against women -- underage girls in this case -- when addressing the misogynistic and supremacist cultural attitudes responsible for it elicits calls of racism such as that you are defending here via your apologetics in regards to Williamrea?

That is the entire problem, here. You people create such a cacophony of interference that surrounds the issue that people who attempt to get to the heart of it are intimidated by the sheer mass of it all and so are disinclined by way of pursuing the matter.
