My thoughts:

First off, John Lenon was rated too high, #12? Seriously? He wasn't even the best singer on the Beatles, where Paul McCartney was rated #26.

How he was rated higher than Freddie Mercury, Bob Dylan, Prince, and Elvis was a complete head-scratcher.

And Ozzy Osbourne should not be on this list. Seriously?

I suppose it comes down to performers, truly outstanding vocalists, or just beautiful voices.

It's Rolling Stone. They need to sell ads, which usually involves pissing in your cornflakes.

Everything on that list is wrong.

Some (in their top 50) were great, but they left out George Strait, Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, Jennifer Nettles, Reba McEntire, Wynona Judd, Faith Hill, Sara Evans, Miranda Lambert and Bonnie Raitt. Of course, many don’t pay much attention to country music.

I spent a while scrolling through to find Celine Dion. She's not even on the list. How???

Bob Dylan being on that list at all indicates that it's not credible.

When Bob Dylan sings it sounds like he's trying to hold in a bong hit. Bob Dylan is a good song writer he's a terrible singer like Willie Nelson.

This list must have been made by a boomer.

That was a fun list. I would have ranked Chris Cornell higher.

Where is Johnny Cash?

These singers weren’t to shabby either:

Well, aren't we just overjoyed to have been treated to YOUR thoughts.

I don't care what Rolling Stone says, this is the greatest singer of all time!!

Trying to "rank" performers in some order is foolish and, IMHO, nonsensical.

Well everybody does it you have your favorites. Publishing it doesn't do any good. That group or that song you love that others hate and vise versa.
True, I do have my favorites, but I don't rank them, nor do I care other's opinions. If you like ranked lists - good for you.

How is Bob Dylan on the list?
I hate Mercury but acknowledge his voice was strong and enjoyed by most.

I always considered Marty Balin the best along with Levon Helm.

This list is women too? Then Shakira needs to be near the top.

Miley Cyrus needs to be on this list, is she?

Same with Adele, Aguilera, Houston and Gaga.
