Rick scott busted lying about new bill. Said it cuts medicare. Busted by face the nation

The problem with "busting" these people is that the base doesn't care if they're lying. They're just happy if they can imagine a liberal somewhere being pissed off; being "owned." I suppose there is the smaller subset of genuinely delusional folk who have been programmed to consider everything outside the Fox bubble "fake", but it's not like you get a different result with them.

The GOP looked at the popular mantra that politicians lie and saw a giant gleaming shield.

Says the guy whose company pulled off the largest medicare fraud ever. This is the kind of person the gop supports and then they have the nerve to talk about criminals.
 
Margaret Brennan: consistently one of the few reporters who actually does their ****ing jobs. Jonathan Swan of Axios is another.

This whole idea that the Republicans were normal until Donald Trump took over the party...my ass!

They've been lying their asses off about everything I can think of as far back as I can remember. For starters, let's never forget that they are the ones who opposed Medicare and SS from the start, but then have the nerve to come back and claim that Democrats are the ones who want to 'take your Medicare' and spend it on Obamacare. They should be grateful that Obamacare passed - still gives them a reason to blame the country's only non-white non-male president for something, 6 years on and counting.
