RFK Jr., HHS to Link Autism to Tylenol Use in Pregnancy and Folate Deficiencies

You beat me to it.

There have been literally hundreds of studies, maybe thousands, on the safety and efficacy of fluoridation, covering well over half a century and millions of beneficiaries. Apparently we can disregard all those studies and draw several unsupported conclusions based on one study.

Welcome to the post-science era.
I guess those 11 countries in Europe that stopped fluoride in their water just for fun? Only 5% of countries in the world add fluoride to water even though you act as if it's widely done practice.

The fluoride put in water isn't natural. Its a byproduct of the fertilizer industry and it comes in bag with skull and crossbones on it. Administering it to water it requires a hasmat suit. Does that sound like a good thing to ingest?

This is the biggest issue with the Twitter scientists - they aren't aware of the large numbers behind the accepted science. This one study says what they want, and the hundreds of other studies must be a conspiracy.

That, and there is a real tendency for posts - and mass media before that - to focus on the outliers, because they are more interesting. I can't tell you how often my mother would call me about some Woman's Day article about the latest cancer "breakthrough."
The big issue with fake experts is they can make a bunch of vague posts, but when they are asked for specific facts to refute something they run and hide.

Fluoride in water is 100% natural.

Also quite a few European countries put fluoride in the salt.

I am not obligated to justify my opinions to you or anyone else.
Bingo. Your opinion is obviously not based on science .
Typical right wing maga.
True, However if they are coughing and hacking with a respiratory issue they cannot seem to shake off, they go to a doctor. Personally, I will not go in for a simple case of the sniffles, though I may test at home.
Which is a smaller group of people.
Projection.
You need to look up psychological projection. You are using it incorrectly.
In 2023, I was hesitant to believe I had Cancer; however I submitted to diagnosis.
That’s nice. But totally irrelevant.
Though I suppose if you had been told by teams of people that cancer was a fake problem, that the doctors were all lying to you to make more money , that the cancer treatment was going to kill you while the cancer was not?
You might not have agreed with diagnosis or treatment.

Are Joe Biden and Kamala Harris MAGA right wingers? Go back and watch the 2020 debates
I don’t see anywhere where they suggest medical advice outside of science .
I simply went in for a diagnosis and expected they would test for Covid, flu, cold, RSV, etc. They did not ask me to sign a consent form
They didn’t need you to sign a form but they did likely ask for consent.

Projection. Not enough to matter.
Again you need to look up psychological projection. You have no idea what you are talking about ( surprise surprise)

Walgreens is offering them at reduced prices, most insurance must be covering them.

  • Free or reduced-cost vaccines are available from state and local health departments, community-based health clinics and initiatives, pharmaceutical manufacturers and national and local pharmacies.
Yes “ vaccines “ you ridiculous dude, that doesn’t mean all vaccines. Only those on the approved lists for certain patients.
When Covid was removed from the approved list for everyone then pharmacists can’t provide it to everyone.

The care I get at the VA is not insurance, it's coverage. While I pay small co-pays, I do not pay premiums. What I get through Community Care is similar to insurance as it's administered by Insurance providers, in my case United Healthcare Optum, however there are no copays or premiums. I cannot be billed for the difference in what is billed and what the VA pays.
The care you get at the va is insurance.
The ca does something’s in house and contracts with other providers for other things
my facilities contract with the va to see patients.
It’s insurance.

Bingo. Your opinion is obviously not based on science .
Typical right wing maga.
Yawn.

Not the point. If I have an ailment with mild symptoms that I can shake off and feel I would just be told to drink water and take a Tylenol, I might hesitate unless symptoms worsened, in which I would either contact or see a doctor.
ou need to look up psychological projection. You are using it incorrectly.
Not really.
Though I suppose if you had been told by teams of people that cancer was a fake problem,
Perhaps people like that can be found on YouTube. I have never come across any either in regard to cancer or Covid.
that the doctors were all lying to you to make more money , that the cancer treatment was going to kill you while the cancer was not?
You might not have agreed with diagnosis or treatment.
Oh you mean like the ones that say "refuse chemo and go with natural cures" Again, I have only found them on Youtube.
I don’t see anywhere where they suggest medical advice outside of science .
However, they did rant that they would not take the vaccine if Trump told them they should. Any way you want to spin that, they were in the least, politicizing the vaccines in order to take a shot at Trump. Someone running for president or vice president should have simply recommended the vaccine when it became available and left all other issues to politics.
They didn’t need you to sign a form but they did likely ask for consent.
No actually they didn't ask for consent. They just tested me for respiratory viruses. I am sure if I had vocally objected they would have left out that test. However, I expected and assumed they would test for Covid, the common cold, flu, rsv, etc.
Again you need to look up psychological projection. You have no idea what you are talking about ( surprise surprise)
Ho hum......

Yes “ vaccines “ you ridiculous dude, that doesn’t mean all vaccines. Only those on the approved lists for certain patients.
When Covid was removed from the approved list for everyone then pharmacists can’t provide it to everyone.
They are advertising Covid, dude. You are just guessing that most insurance will not cover it if not on RFK's list. Chances are if insurance covers the flu shot, it will cover covid as well.

The care you get at the va is insurance.
The ca does something’s in house and contracts with other providers for other things
my facilities contract with the va to see patients.
It’s insurance.
Call it whatever you like. It's coverage under the Community care Act that I don't get billed for. No copayments No premiums. Granted, to a provider it looks like insurance as it is administered by an insurance provider. I am just grateful that Trump signed it into law.

How could she get people killed by citing statistics? Are you claiming those statistics aren't accurate?
Your statistics ain't ever accurate. It's all Big Voodoo BS. Do you even have any training in actual math and science? Or is X and TikTok about all you can manage?

Yawn.

Not the point. If I have an ailment with mild symptoms that I can shake off and feel I would just be told to drink water and take a Tylenol, I might hesitate unless symptoms worsened, in which I would either contact or see a doctor.
Right. So your idea that some with Covid would run to the doctor is bunk.
Not really.

Perhaps people like that can be found on YouTube. I have never come across any either in regard to cancer or Covid.
Because you don’t work in healthcare . And most MAGAs like yourself are really obtuse about their fellow MAGAs.

Oh you mean like the ones that say "refuse chemo and go with natural cures" Again, I have only found them on Youtube.
Because you aren’t a medical practitioner.
However, they did rant that they would not take the vaccine if Trump told them they should.
Of course because trump is an idiot.
Anyone who says “ I would do x because trump told me to is a moron. Which means maga are morons.
Any way you want to spin that, they were in the least, politicizing the vaccines in order to take a shot at Trump.
No. They weren’t. They were acknowledging that TRUMP was politicizing the vaccines to try and get an edge in the election and he was willing to lie about them ( surprise surprise on trump lying)
Someone running for president or vice president should have simply recommended the vaccine when it became available and left all other issues to politics.
Well when I hear you criticize trump for saying the vaccine would be ready when every actual scientist involved in the development of the vaccine was saying “ no they won’t be ready “?
When I hear you say that , then I’ll give you just a tad of credibility. Until then,? You just seem a hypocrite.
No actually they didn't ask for consent. They just tested me for respiratory viruses. I am sure if I had vocally objected they would have left out that test. However, I expected and assumed they would test for Covid, the common cold, flu, rsv, etc.
I bet they did . You just didn’t know it. Informed consent is when they tell you the test and what it’s for and then say “ ready”? And you say “ yes”.
We don’t have to have you say “ I consent to this test”.
Ho hum......

Okay, so autism was first diagnosed in 1911.

Tylenol went on the market in 1950.

Do not take medical advice from a man that swims in sewage.
Did you miss the part where EVEN TYLENOL Told the world that "Pregnant women should not use TYLENOL !" ????.....

You are you people trying so damn hard to do stupid Chit ?...

If I didn't have to pay taxes to support stupid people I would say HAVE AT IT !....
But unfortunately I suffer by have a brain dead society......

They are advertising Covid, dude. You are just guessing that most insurance will not cover it if not on RFK's list. Chances are if insurance covers the flu shot, it will cover covid as well.
No. I am not guessing. I know the insurance and the laws.
You obviously don’t know as you don’t understand that they can offer Covid to someone on the recommended list BUT NOT to everyone who wants one.

Now that appears to have changed as the cdc just revised its guidelines.
And it’s another cluster.

Call it whatever you like. It's coverage under the Community care Act that I don't get billed for. No copayments No premiums. Granted, to a provider it looks like insurance as it is administered by an insurance provider. I am just grateful that Trump signed it into law.
It’s insurance. Deal.

Hmmm. Ya didn’t bother to read the whole article you linked to did you.??

In a statement to Mediaite, Tylenol parent company Kenvue did not dispute the authenticity of the tweet, but called it “incomplete,” saying:

This eight-year-old consumer response is incomplete and did not address our full guidance on the safe use of Tylenol which has not changed:

  1. Acetaminophen is the safest pain reliever option for pregnant women as needed throughout their entire pregnancy.
  2. Our products are safe and effective when used as directed on the product label.
  3. We recommend pregnant women do not take any over-the-counter medication, including acetaminophen, without talking to their doctor first.

Who is “ brain dead”?
Lol.

Right. So your idea that some with Covid would run to the doctor is bunk.
Actually, most of us drive unless within walking distance. 😁
And most MAGAs like yourself are really obtuse about their fellow MAGAs.
Projection.
Because you aren’t a medical practitioner.
I am retired.
Of course because trump is an idiot.
No, the idiot with dementia left office in late January.
Anyone who says “ I would do x because trump told me to is a moron. Which means maga are morons.
Once again, projection on a silly level. During the pandemic, MAGA's like myself made the decision to vaccinate or not based not wanting to get sick. No MAGAs refused the shot over anything Trump said. Unlike Biden and Harris, Trump recommended the vaccines, after all it was his Operation Warp Speed that delivered them in record time.
No. They weren’t. They were acknowledging that TRUMP was politicizing the vaccines to try and get an edge in the election and he was willing to lie about them ( surprise surprise on trump lying)
1000% bullshit. It was Biden and Harris that politicized the vaccines. Again, on that issue, rather than trying to get a dig in at Trump, they should have simply recommended that everyone eligible get the vaccines as soon as they became available.
Well when I hear you criticize trump for saying the vaccine would be ready when every actual scientist involved in the development of the vaccine was saying “ no they won’t be ready “?
Why should I criticize Trump on that. As it turned out, he was correct. Due to Operation Warp Speed, the vaccines were developed, phased trials done, and approved in record time, rather than the "up to three years" the so called experts claimed.
When I hear you say that , then I’ll give you just a tad of credibility.
To be clear, I do not lose any sleep at night worrying about whether an anonymous poster on a political talkboard gives me a tad of credibility or not.
I bet they did . You just didn’t know it.
More projection.

Actually, most of us drive unless within walking distance. 😁

Projection.
You need to look up projection as I said. You aren’t using it correctly.
I am retired.
So you have no reference as I said.
No, the idiot with dementia left office in late January.
And yet trump demonstrates worse cognitive skills!!!

Once again, projection on a silly level. During the pandemic, MAGA's like myself made the decision to vaccinate or not based not wanting to get sick.
Nope.

Gosh those darn facts keep getting in the way of your unsubstantiated opinions.

No MAGAs refused the shot over anything Trump said. Unlike Biden and Harris, Trump recommended the vaccines, after all it was his Operation Warp Speed that delivered them in record time.
Well except for:

“Based on recent reports, some MAGA supporters cite former President Donald Trump's rhetoric and policies as a reason for vaccine hesitancy, particularly regarding COVID-19 shots
. His repeated questioning of vaccine safety, paired with his administration's appointments and policy changes, have contributed to a distrust of public health institutions that resonates with a segment of his base. “

1000% bullshit. It was Biden and Harris that politicized the vaccines. Again, on that issue, rather than trying to get a dig in at Trump, they should have simply recommended that everyone eligible get the vaccines as soon as they became available.
Yes your post is 1000% bs.
Trump politicized the vaccine by claiming it was going to be ready before any scientist involved with it said it would be ready.

Why should I criticize Trump on that. As it turned out, he was correct. Due to Operation Warp Speed, the vaccines were developed, phased trials done, and approved in record time, rather than the "up to three years" the so called experts claimed.
No he was NOT CORRECT.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump said Thursday that a vaccine for the coronavirus could be ready before Election Day, contradicting the timeline that many health experts have said is realistic.

To be clear, I do not lose any sleep at night worrying about whether an anonymous poster on a political talkboard gives me a tad of credibility or not.
Oh I think we all know you don’t care about your credibility.
More projection.
Lol. See above.

You need to look up projection as I said. You aren’t using it correctly.

So you have no reference as I said.

That claim could give me cause to start doubting at some level your claims of being in the medical profession.

Opinion poll. Meh.

BS.
Yes your post is 1000% bs.
Trump politicized the vaccine by claiming it was going to be ready before any scientist involved with it said it would be ready.
And he was right, thanks to Operation Warp Speed.
No he was NOT CORRECT.
