I really don't understand the apparent psychological need for Trump supporters to see themselves as brave patriots standing in the front lines of the last battle. You're not victims. You're not heroes. You're not martyrs. And you most certainly are not demon-slaying saints. You've just been deluded by a sustained campaign launched by the GOP around 2007 to turn political disagreement with particular policies from Democrats into blind across-the-board hatred.

I heard more or less exactly the same squeals and hyperventilations about how America would be destroyed if Obama won. I heard them twice over. Instead of being destroyed, America got out of a very nasty recession.





PS: I'll bet you don't know the details about even one of the trade deals you've called "horrible." You typed that because Trump commanded you to.

The problem with a democracy is that there are other citizens who disagree with you. Your dreams are not their dreams.

Also, the devil is in the details. If not Obamacare, then what? How DO you get rid of ISIS, since it's based on an ideology and extreme hatred of those not like them? What Supreme Court madness?

It's easy to spit out a slogan, "Death to ISIS!" Much more difficult to set forth a clear plan, execute it, and have the plan actually work. It's easy to say, "Repeal Obamacare!" But there were reasons that Obamacare was passed in the first place. If you remove Obamacare, then those problems will reappear. So what is the right plan that is best for everyone? Is there a detailed plan out there that will resolve the big issues? For some, the biggest problem with the Supreme Court was Scalia, so that problem has taken care of itself. Hopefully no more Citizen's United rulings, that ridiculously rule that corporations are people, contributing greatly to the problems our political process, as large corporations swooped in to own the whole system, anonymously.
 
Trump is going to be president. Believe it. This is why we are people of faith.

Just so you know, your desired outcome is not terribly likely. When, er, IF this happens, it will be the "PEOPLE" telling all of us that they were not interested in what the Donald was selling. As a good American, you surely shall recognize the will of those people and accept your new President.

The election was a referendum against liberal policies. God had a direct effect and vaulted Trump to the presidency. God guided the people and the people voted in Donald J Trump as the chosen one.

The people would not tolerate being called deplorables. They refused to be ignored from a candidate in Hillary who has a sincere disdain for the average American. This is why she lost states like Michigan, Wisconsin, etc...

Like you said, as a good American, you surely shall recognize the will of those people and accept your new president.

We witnessed the fulfillment of GODS will. Gods awesome and almighty power. Liberals were awaken and shaken seeing something truly miraculous in a society where they are taught God is not real.

I tend to stay away from the far right as well as the far left, they both generally have nothing to contribute to constructive conversations.

I checking in on both fairly regularly because it is always best to know what is going on in the enemies mind and their game plans. How else would grasp the type of propaganda that gets fed to them and how it effects their thinking. No, to me knowledge is important and gives one an advantage over the extremists.

Some of the statements by this poster are odd. So Trump seems to be this poster's god it seems. Let us remember Trump seemed to have claimed one time that he "is greater than God."

Clinton was full of hubris and she fell. Trump is full of it too and sooner he too will fall. He has made a lot of promises some of which will not happen. That is the reality. So what can his worshippers do when the claimer fails to produce?

God frowns on people who claim to be greater than He. It is only a matter of time. But in the meanwhile...

Why should we accept that you know who "He" frowns upon? Perhaps he/she/they gets really annoyed with people who presume to speak in his/her/their name.

Most people just skip over the posts, heck half of the time it makes little to no sense and rambles all over the place. Always reminds me of some guy standing on a street corner screaming at the masses, the police usually show up at some point and take them away.

Obama said that voting for Hillary would continue his many liberal policies but the difference in the election were voters who voted for Obama in 08 and 12 in states like Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin.... who voted for Trump instead of Hillary.

These aren't racist - (again, they voted for Obama) they voted against liberal policies.
