May just have to grab one up. Can think of a few old school games I could get into which I would assume included with that massive amount of accessible games.

I remember I got a nintendo cartridge in 1989 from China that had 100 games loaded into it for $50.

One problem was that most of the games didnt have the original amount of levels - they cut off at some point - which generally wasnt a problem for me because I wasnt that great at video games... Six levels of Super Mario World were enough for me.

But I'd check the reviews out to make sure its actually full games and has some of the good games you remember. I also think there are lots of different consoles like this out there - I'd do a search to find the good ones on Reddit or something.

Edit: Reddit is mixed on these things.

Yeah, going to look up on it a bit. I had bought one of the little Atari retros a few years ago. Not fully impressed.

70k lame games is not fun.
Sometimes the simplest and lamest are the most fun.

It used to be so simple. Had a stick and a button. Now we got buttons, triggers, d-pads, sticks, pressure sensitive, tilt sensors, button combos...

Don't get me wrong. Enjoy the PS5 and modern games. But sometimes just give me a stick and a button.

That's cheaper than a basic raspberry pi 4 and case, good deal.

I played that lame Tetris game too much. Still a much better game than any pvp game.

This isnt like those scam plug and plays are they? How do they get past copyright?

Stick and a button wouldnt have been enough for me. The nes was my beginner console. I do love seeing people push 8-bit and the vectrex to the limits.

Ive seen a few of these emulator consoles. There are also emulator handhelds that hold thousands of games too.

Was Atari 2600 for me. Still sitting here in a box. Then NES. PS4, 5 and a Wii sitting in house now.

Good question. A quick browse around seems a lot of caveats to legalities. But seems the way this works and sheer volume of games, highly doubtful they've got permission from however many publishers catalogs.

Friend in the hood did. The rich folks console. ;)

That second button and d-pad were game changers.(pun intended)

Looks like it was released in July. Don't remember if I got it that Christmas or next, but I know I nagged the shit out of my parents about it.:ROFLMAO:
Contra & Mike Tyson Punch Out were a couple of the best games on the NES.

Contra is one that came to mind as a retro game. Friend and I played the shit out of it.

Ah, to punch the hell out of Glass Joe and that hippo guy; whatever his name was.

A friend of mine and I did the same. We played so much, we became good enough to beat the game on 1 life.

King Hippo. Beating Mike Tyson was one of my greatest gaming achievements 😁
