Republicans Win Control of the House

That’s too bad. I was really hoping the Democrats would win the House to balance things out.
Last night, the media jumped the gun.
This morning, we are learning they haven't officially won the majority, but it looks to be inevitable. 214-205

I disagree for one reason. The last time the democrats held the house, they failed to act like adults. They ran two kangaroo court impeachments against one president and kangaroo court 1/6 hearings. I don't think Jeffries is quite the moron that Pelosi is, however you never know.

Trump has got his eyes on a few House members for his administration, he better do some math….

Here's why. If the entire party does something about their TDS, and comes back down to earth, they might have a chance, but as many can see their only argument is Trump is bad.
They started their BS with Hillary Clinton, and instead of realizing they were wrong, they double downed with her negativity and nasty politics. Now it defines their party. They are all HRC clones. And it seems the loss to Trump has not yet sparked introspection, and I doubt it ever will. They will forever be the party of nasty Karens that no one likes.

That seems to be a problem with you lot. You have a lengthy record of guessing wrong.
Sorry, I forgot that most MAGAs don't care about the constitution and our democracy. I should have qualified my statement.

If you care about the constitution and our democracy, my guess is that you will be ashamed you voted for Trump 3 years from now.

Is that better?

Not sure I expect any of them to act like adults. I was just hoping for gridlock so crazy legislation couldn’t be passed.

No ****ing excuses. Last time they did diddly-squat and when the Democrats won the mid-terms the entire magatry got up on their hind legs howling about how the Dems were doing nothing. This time they, the Repubs, have even less incentive to get things done but they're in a fishbowl. If they get anything wrong it'll be front and centre. If they fail on any promise it'll be front and centre
Don't worry. As long as the rich and powerful fund/own both parties the 2 parties will only do what the rich and powerful want. Then the media also owned by the rich and powerful will blame the party in charge causing us to vote for the other party. Then that party will only do what the rich and powerful want. Then the rich and powerful will use their media to blame the party in charge. Then the people will vote for the other party again. This will happen over and over and over and over and over.

But what will not happen is: "We the People" will never figure out what they are doing because the rich and powerful are using their media to divide us by blaming the other side for voting their party. Blind stupidity cannot be fixed. So keep cheering your party on like good little party blind sheep.

You mean like letting in 10 million illegals and averaging 5% inflation?
No, like this:

Why do you think Trump cares?
Trump does care. Will he have learned enough to out maneuver both parties and actually get things done. Most likely the media owned by the rich and powerful will make sure it doesn't happen like they did last time.
A Republican Congress was incapable of governing last time, what makes you think this time will be different?
Last time Trump still needed your support for his next campaign. Now, he has no more use for your support. You might, maybe, get what you want from Congress but not likely. Republicans have forgotten how to govern. Opposition is their natural role
We will see if the republican party supports Trump this time when he tries to do what the people elected him to do. The people have spoken without question. Now we will see if either of the 2 parties listen to the people or do they keep doing the bidding of the rich and powerful. We saw first hand how they used their money to kick Joe to the curb.

Now there's the trifecta for Trump to move forward with little obstruction. Then nice thing is it may lead to less whinging about Democrats....maybe and no excuses from not making the changes he promised. Of course the wise thing to do is act in the first two years because who knows how the 2026 mid-terms will play out.

Not really. There have been many threads with people explaining why they disagree with a variety of Trump's proposed policies.

Not going to happen just like last time. The rich and powerful who own both parties and the media will not let it happen.

Then I guess it's going to be a let down for Trump supporters. Maybe Trump shouldn't give them a tax cut then.

Congress levies taxes not the president. He can work with congress in the hope they work with him. But as we saw it was a one way street last time.

They've been wrong about everything since 2016.
Not everything. Many of us predicted Trump would not actually fix anything. We were right about that. Not only did he not fix anything he was supposedly going to fix, he utterly mishandled what was unanticipated - a pandemic. Of course, he made made that even worse because he stupidly disbanded the office that was intended make a pandemic easier to manage.

It's a safe bet he won't fix anything this time around, and that anything unanticipated he will manage poorly and eff up royally. The he, like you, will blame someone else again.

Go ahead, let all that Trump Rage out. Rest assured that in just 4 short years he will be replaced by another GOP POTUS so you can continue to express your political rage.

There won't be any health problems this time. RFK Jr. will be Health Czar. Pandemics and diseases don't stand a chance against his brain worms.

I notice you didn't argue my point. But thanks - I took the opportunity to post it again.

Your prediction is noted.

It will be interesting to see how the House and Senate work together to solve some of Americans problems or will they waste their time holding partisan hearings about the Biden's and others they may deem did wrong by Trump.

Good. The Trumpers have control of all three branches of government, along with the Supreme Court. Who will they blame when it all turns to shit? I give it about 18 months…
If its like other predictions you've made things will improve markedly by then.

Democrats?
It’s hard to say. MAGA seem to have upwards of 20+ secret shadow societies to point fingers at, and there appears to be no central clearing house for providing some structure or explaining the relationships between these groups. Hence we have you blaming the Democrats while your peers blame the Pukes, the Marxists, the Establishnent Elites, the Deep State, the Libruls, the Handlers, and more, without actually every describing how these groups relate to each other, which one led the Jewish Space Laser project, which one developed the hurricane steering technology and so forth.

My election prediction was absolutely wrong, I freely admit. My other predictions are usually pretty darn good. This one seems pretty easy, assuming Trump does the stupid shit he said he was going to do. Time will tell. But I do notice you sidestepped the question.

How long now before the states' rights crowd starts cheering/standing passively by for a push for a federal ban on abortion?
