Republicans post fake image of Oregon protest – using photos of South America

Now there is a president who is behaving as if he were king, and overstepping the authority of the office he holds. That is what is being addressed by these protests.

There is no legal requirement that the government state do this.

When the law is used to tear communities and families apart, its tyranny. Plain and simple.

Yeah, unfortunately, the law says that people who enter the country illegally or non-citizens who commit crimes can be deported. We can’t refuse to enforce laws just because they make people sad. The rule of law is one of the things that keeps civil societies civil. When you start letting violent thugs do what they want because they were “provoked,” what you end up with is chaos. The American public doesn’t want that. That’s why Democrats are becoming increasingly irrelevant.

Trump is running the government, or rather Vought is, with zero thought to Congressional over sight and respect for the Constitution. He is doing whatever he wants with government money, he is not using the money as Congress allocated, he is making personal decisions based on favoritism and retribution. He is ignoring the notion of checks and balances and is personally directing the DOJ. That is not how a Democratic Republic works...it's how a monarch or a dictator works. Take your choice.
