Republican-led report debunks Benghazi accusations - CNN.com
An investigative report prepared by the House Intelligence Committee finds little to support questions raised about CIA actions on the ground in Benghazi, Libya, the night of a deadly 2012 attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound.
The report, from Chairman Mike Rogers, R-Michigan, and ranking member Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger, D-Maryland, concludes there was no intelligence failure prior to the attack, no stand-down order to CIA operatives trying to go assist at the besieged consular building, and found conflicting intelligence in the wake of the attack about the motive and cause, which were reflected in early public comments by the administration.
Oh dear, what will the True Believers say now
I wonder why the report was released late on a Friday

Republicans should pay a heavy price for this, but they won't. They won't even learn their lesson because no one holds them accountable. Two years of politics-polluting vitriol and it ends with a report that quietly lets Republicans off the hook. These same Republicans will be stirring up sh!t again the next time Obama sneezes.
Until then, to all Benghazi drum-beaters, you're a bunch of losers. Pack your sh!t up and get the f**k out of here.

Can I still blurt the words, "What difference does it make?"
I've said this before, and I'll say it again... I don't expect our government to be perfect, especially when it comes to incidents like this that take place over seas in a hostile part of the world. I've always believed that if any mistakes were made by the Administration or State Department, that we just need to learn from them so we handle things better next time. The way I see it, as long it wasn't a case of blatant incompetence or complete disregard for American lives, there is no need to look for heads to put on a chopping block.
My biggest issue with the entire Benghazi incident right from the beginning, was the fact that the Obama Administration lied to the American people, and did so not to protect national security, not because details were classified, and not as a means to prevent more violence from occuring... They lied purely for personal political gain because the truth might have negatively effected the presidents reelection bid. To make matters worse, the Administration blamed the attack and the deaths of those 4 Americans, on an innocent man who's only crime was exercising his freedom of expression by making and publishing a video on YouTube, that many Muslims found offensive... The Administration then had the man arrested and turned his life completely upside down, all because they were afraid that if they told the truth about what really happened and why, it might cost them a few votes.
They made up phony excuses and pinned the blame on an innocent person all for political gain... In my opinion, any person or party possessing that kind of selfishness and lack of character, present more of a danger to our nation than terrorism ever could and do not deserve to hold elected office PERIOD...
But that's what happens when the media abandons investigative journalism to become political cheerleaders, and half the American public acts like their voting for prom king on election day, rather than our nations leader.

This seals the deal... The Obama Administration was definitely involved in a cover-up.

Email: State Dept Official Close to Hillary Informed Benghazi Was Terrorist Attack | Mediaite
This must be a special day indeed for those 2 reporters, who have suffered relentless attacks from liberal hack sites like Media Matters for many, many months.
Rothman: Benghazi Revelations Vindicate Jonathan Karl, Sharyl Attkisson | Mediaite
The more we learn about the attacks earlier this week, the more nieve and incompetant the Obama Administration is looking.
BBC News - US consulate in Benghazi 'did not have enough security'
So basically you are going to ignore the content of the report and repeat the same failed, inaccurate talking point that Hannity fed you.

The best part is that he's still trying to claim the WH lied.
They did lie... For nearly 2 weeks the Administration led the American people to believe that the attack was not done by organized terrorists, but was the result of spontaneous outrage over a YouTube video. It was a total crock of "you can keep your doctor" BS.
BTW, I appreciate you backing up my claim by showing that the lie about a the video was the thing that bothered me the most.
Well I'm just going to do a copy and paste from another thread.
>" Did you actually followed the links and actually read the report ? < http://intelligence.house.gov/sites/...i Report.pdf > It exonerates the CIA, not the Obama administration.
Susan Rice and Obama still blamed it on a You Tube video while most informed Americans knew that Obama was politicalizing Benghazi and was derelict in his duties as Commander in Chief. The Obama administration didn't respond that night while Americans were fighting for their lives and requesting for help.
No AC-130 (Spectra) available. Why ? Obama is the CnC.
No Navy CSG or ARG in the Mediterranean , why ? Presidents Truman, Esienhower, JFK, LBJ, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton and Bush 43 always had a naval presence in the Mediterranean , why not Obama ? Could it be that Obama had already stripped our military of being able to respond ?
No stand down order was issued because no order was issued to go in.
Still the Obama administration lied to the American people and blamed it on a You Tube video.
Obama refused to call it a terrorist attack.
Finding: >" A mixed group, including members of al-Qa’ida in the lands of the Islamic Maghreb (AGIM), al-Qa’ida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), al-Qa’ida in Iraq (AQI), the Muhammad Jamal Network (MJN), Ansar al-Sharia (AAS), and Abu Abaydah Ibn Jarah Battalion (UJB) participated in the attacks, along with Qadafi loyalist"<
Finding: >"The CIA received all military support that was available. Neither the CIA nor DOD denied requests for air support. One CIA security officer requested a Spectre gunship that he believed was available, but his commanding officer did not relay the request because he correctly knew the gunship was not availabl. "<
Why wasn't an AC-130 available ? Who in the **** is the CnC ?
Finding: >" Ambassador Rice’s September 16 public statements about the existence of a protest, as well as some of the underlying intelligence reports, proved to be inaccurate."<
No **** Sherlock, when hasn't the Obama administration not lied ?..."<
That's the best you can do ?
Grim17, Issa already proved that the YouTube video thing wasn't a lie and the administration thought this had been caused by a video. This was done months ago and you're still holding on to it.
Link please?
A still-classified State Department e-mail says that one of the first responses from the White House to the Benghazi attack was to contact YouTube to warn of the “ramifications” of allowing the posting of an anti-Islamic video, according to Rep. Darrell Issa, the Republican chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
It blew a giant hole in his claim that there was a coverup
OH NO! What is the GOP going to do now? This was the only weapon that they had in their arsenal. They were counting on using Benghazi to bring Hilary down. They truly believed that the 4928th time was going to be the time that it worked! Going to have to come up with something new now.
