Republican attempt to impeach Mayorkas fails in the senate.

The only difference is the Senate did take it up and try Trump in the Senate. Not trying Mayorkas was ultra-partisan politics.

The impeachment of Trump was purely political. It was based on third party hearsay with no evidence. Mayorkas on the otherhand intentionally ignore's his duties regarding protecting our southern borders from illegal immigration, fentynal, and human trafficking.
McConnell said there were high crimes and misdemeanors he chose to vote no only because Trump was leaving office they fell short of removing him by 3 votes

And you believe the charges were unconstitutional simply because Chuckie Schumer said so? Tell me specifically in what areas did the charges allegedly violate the US Constitution. Mayorkas was impeached for not doing his job in regards to the influx of illegal immigrants, fentanyl, human trafficking, etc coming across our border
if they don't define a high crime or misdemeanor in the charges, they are unconstitutional....the Constitution says, high crime or misdemeanor or bribery....it doesn't say, just because we feel like blaming someone else for the job we did not do.

That so-called solicitation of a foriegn country was just a narrative. Trump released the transcripts of the phone call. There was no quid quo pro. The Ukrainian president himself said he felt no pressure and in fact did not carry on the requested investigation and the loans were given. Biden on the otherhand bribed the Ukrainian government to avoid investigating Burisma as his some Hunter was on the board and driectly said, fire the prosecuter or you will not get the 2 billion dollars. Trump should not have been impeached, Biden should.

Completely false. Trump did not refuse to accept the results of the 2020 election. He left office when Biden was inaugerated. He was and still is of the opinion that Biden;s election victory was not legitimate. I agree, though not for the same reasons. And the moronic claim that Trump instiaged the events of 1-6 are just democrat narrative. And the majority of Americans do not buy the insurrection narrative.
He refuses to this day to accept the results of the election. He is wrong and so are you...the victory was legitimate. He absolutely was responsible for what happened on 1/6...his refusal to do anything as he sat and watched, smiling is why that is a fact...he refused to call in the NG, refused to even prepare....he didn't even want to have metal detectors to prevent guns from getting in....there is a reason for that....it was Mike Pence that called in the NG....and I believe they gave him power for sufficient time to do it, because he did....and his stopping that is why you turned on him.

Mitch is barely a republican and will soon leave the leaderhsip spot. He never liked Trump or any other republican who would rock the establishment politics boat.

Mitch is barely a Republican? lmao...find another story, that lie isn't passing even an inkling of believability. McConnell has been a life long Republican.....it is you and Trump who are not Republicans....most of us call that imposters.

If Trump had accepted the election results, there would have been no Jan 6 storming of the Capitol. Though I believe he didn’t cause it to happen, it’s not a contradiction to say that it happened because of him.

As to the narrative, do yourself a favor and look up the definition of “insurrection.” Jan 6 fits.

disagree. but you have a right to your opinion.

again, opinion noted.

You do realize that human trafficking, fentynal and other illegals drugs have been coming in from the southern border for decades. That includes when Trump was President.

not to mention nearly all fentanyl is brought here through the actual port of entry by US citizens.

don't confuse the Trump supporters with facts and logic. They will only come back with alternative facts.

The law says if they arrive, regardless of how or where and claim credible fear the process starts. That does not mean they stay, but if they pass the credible fear interview they do get to stay until a decision is made on asylum at a master hearing and all appeals are heard. The major issue is backlog that makes the time between a credible fear decision and the master hearing is years and that needs to be addressed. We don’t have enough asylum officers or judges and courts to reduce that time line. Biden wanted to put a cap on how many could file asylum and the right refused to consider it.
And conversely, it's been obvious for a few years that we don't have the resources and facilities to allow them to have free rein of the the country. I'd be curious what percentage of those that were allowed in awaiting a hearing are actually still at the location they gave.

the law, as it is written is being followed...until that law is changed, budgets added to, etc...what do you expect to happen?

What dirty tricks? The GOP had no case.

You People lost. Again. It's all you've done after 2016.
They had cases that were thrown out on procedural rather than legal merit. Answer me this: Why did Zuckerberg invest $400,000,000 into the election process and structure in states he didn't live in? Second thought, given most of the legal actions were in Democrat controlled states why would you expect them to investigate themselves?

As long as Dems in power I expect to be armpit deep in illegals.

What about the requirement that applicants had to have requested asylum in the countries they passed through before requesting asylum in US? Or "remain in Mexico"? I just don't see how our society and economy can continue under the weight of millions of essentially strangers to our laws, language, and society.

explain what any party has done since 1996?

You will find your answer to the Zuckerberg question if you find out why very rich people spend money in support of the GOP.

Citadel hedge fund founder Kenneth Griffin dumped $72 million into the 2021-2022 cycle, becoming the second biggest GOP donor in the U.S. after announcing Citadel's HQ would move from Chicago to Miami.

LOL, yeah,Zucherbert is a pauper and are all the other internet gazillionaires who donate to Biden.

$72 million in the entire cycle is chump change compared to Zuckerberg one time donation. BTW that wasn't hs only donations.

You're the self-declared expert explain to use why numbers soared when Biden took over - same laws, right? Same enforcers following their leaders direction, right? So what's your expert opinion?

the numbers haven't actually soared per se....except that there are more issues in areas like Venezuela and Central America. Seems to me I recall there being caravans under Trump too....question is how many get aways were there under Trump

read my statement again. It seemed to have gone over your head. :ROFLMAO:

That was one example. Not going to do your home work for you. Prove that Trump has never had rich people supporting him when he ran for President in 2016 or even now.

Not saying Trump doesn't have rich donors, just point out that a vernalized state like "rich donate to Trump" isn't accurate.

I think a lot of those caravans got blocked because of COVID - the "remain in Mexico" process.

not really.... I know of several that got through anyway...many weren't even stopped and there were more that were released. Look at Trump's numbers...they aren't good.

yet there was implied criticism of Biden funding.

If it ok for Trump to have rich donors so should the opposition if they can get it.

Because he wanted to.

Is that against the law?

Oddly enough, they raised a bill and Trump told the Freedom Caucus to kill it so Biden wouldn't get any credit for it.

You guys don't actually care about border security and you never have.
