Reported swine flu victim remembered for her passion

I know how insurance works. The rest is only logical.

Now you're claiming we don't know as a means to avoid my points.

Earlier in the thread, you said this:

First, if someone has a high fever with the flu, then they are already in dangerous territory. Second, it's not that she was unlucky, it was that she had H1N1. Please research cytokine storm and get back to me, thanks.

And if there was UHC, hospitals would be more on the ball about testing for H1N1, but as it stands they receive no public resources to do that. You forget that the public health option isn't just about individuals having coverage, but it also provides additional resources to hospitals for safety measures.

Blaming the victim is just sickening and I won't stand for it.

I assumed nothing; and you need to read more of this thread. Some of the "facts" aren't what they were reported as being.

And sometimes, the victim IS to blame. Don't really care if you'll "stand for it" or not.

Re: Another preventable death.

:lamo what a pompous buffoon :lamo

:2rofll: If only I pushed harder :2rofll:

This kind of response makes my stomach curdle. People are willing to ignore a sad wast of a life and its not found sad because I refereed to a demarcate in my post. If this was your sister or was maybe you I share you would feel differently.

I am guessing your dislike for the demarcates is so strong you cant make the repeat for this lost life public.

Some one died. a real person.

Yes, and you are using her death to push your political agenda. Heck, you said so yourself when you explained why you posted her picture.

I have no political agenda I am not in politics.

If it was rush limbal offering the plain I would support it, if it was Obama offering it witch it is I support it, if it was the devil offering it I would support it.

Its about saving lives nothing els.

Re: Another preventable death.

Yes, this health bill is your agenda. To say it's "not politics" is laughable.

My agenda is saving lives.

The best way I know to do this is with the bill. If I had a magic wand to cure the sick it might be different.

The bill is what we have.

Some believe government mandated healthcare will save lives.

Others realize that it will only degrade care by increasing the burden on the system unnecessarily, while at the same time reducing one's personal freedom to do what one wants with one's own life.

It is a political issue.

Yes it can, "And" it not a government option its a public option.

In the EU that has the top rated health care services in the world in many countries shows it can and dose. I witch this was a government option.

while at the same time reducing one's personal freedom to do what one wants with one's own life.

Thats not the experience on people on government run health care.

People see more freedom to do what they wont because there more money in there pocket. People don't have to be scared of dying in the ER from waiting in long lines for care.
