Report: Fla. adds 2 seats, N.Y. loses - Richard E. Cohen - POLITICO.com

If only it were Rangel and Nadler we were losing.

In terms of the political impact, this looks like it will be an 8-seat swing in the Electoral College for most years.

The thing that now will come into play will be the gerrymandering that will be going on in every state that it either gaining or losing, and of course that will be up mostly to the party in the majority in each state.

There really should be a better way but even if one was to come up with a better system the fight over making it an even playing field would be a bloody one, metaphorically speaking.

It's never been a level playing field and I suppose it never will be.

Well we all know that all those people leaving New York are just going to Florida to retire anyway, guess they took their Congressional seats with them.
