Rep. Jim Jordan subpoenaed by J6 Committee

Waste of time, odds are Jim Jordan will ignore it and even if he shows up he will not answer very much.

Theatre.

Were there ANY pro-Trump people on that so called "committee"?

Of course not. It was just another BS attempt to take down Orange man. Just like all the rest.

And the American people are wise to it.

Jungle Gym Jordan can't testify before the 6 Jan Committee. He doesn't have a jacket.

No matter. Jordan won't testify in front of the committee. He will claim that as a member of Congress he doesn't have to testify to a Congressional Committee.

If the Trumpublicans re-take the House in mid-term elections Jordon will be one of the most adamant about seeking vengeance on Democrats by issuing subpoenas to Democrats to testify before GOP vengeance committees. Democrats will reply by quoting Jordan and other Trumpublican House members that as members of Congress they don't have to testify to a Congressional committee.

Payback is a mother****er.

Payback for protecting democracy?

The GQP is sick, very very sick.

Yup, ole Jimmy the Mouth is doing his best to get his hands on sensitive material that the 1/6 Committee has in their possession, and he thinks that he'll trick them into giving such to him so that he'll answer his subpoena in which he more than likely won't. The only way he'd do it is if he is allowed to spew nonsense without being shut down.

The lengthy screed largely rehashes his grievances with the committee’s investigation into the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection, with Jordan accusing the panel of seeking his testimony “for purposes of harassment, embarrassment [and] the self-aggrandizement of the Select Committee members.”

Jordan demanded once more that the committee send him its evidence “to assuage my concerns about your commitment to fundamental fairness and due process.”

As with his previous letter, the GOP congressman notably did not promise on Thursday to comply with the subpoena if the panel did give him the material, only that he “may adequately further respond” to it.
