Remember that free speech that elon spoke of when he bought Twitter?

'CIS' is a make up ideological word requiring belief in gender identity theory. Normal people reject this and shouldn't be forced to adopt made up jargon.ErosWhen used as a slur word it should be treatedlike any other slur word.
Designating a person a heterosexual is a slur? Since when.
I actually think it’s silly word for general conversation. I prefer straight.

The angry right is getting confused on what the latest thing they need to hate is...

Queer was derogatory but now its an approved designation. Colored people used to be an approved designation, now it is derogatory.
Right, but cisgender has not come even close to that. That would depend on how people use it, and thus far it's not been widely used in a derogatory fashion. Just because someone said so on Twitter is hardly representative of anything. Now I'm sure you'll get a bunch of folks who'll parrot that sentiment, but whether that catches to the broader populace remains to be seen.

So what do you use instead of cisgender when you have to define your gender identity?

Cissy demands an answer.

Why do I need to define my gender identity to you or anyone else?

Yeah, and designating a person as an african american buy saying N***** isn't a slur either. Same concept.

I personally don't care. It only makes people who use it look stupid and gullible. But apparently Wokeists were using it like slur to harrass and bully.

All words were made up at some point, and why is "cisgender" any different than "straight", "normal", or other similar terms?

So far it's one Twitter user making this claim; oh and Elon Musk. What that Twitter poster mention were some posters who used a modification of the word to make fun of him.

Why do I need to define my gender identity to you or anyone else?
I asked what word you used, in the spirit of the discussion here about the term "cisgender" which has a very specific meaning. But if you choose not to answer for yourself, then what non offensive equivalent would generally be preferable?

Little kids shouldn't be on twitter. Or any social media for that matter.

I thought you were against little kids seeing porn on the internet.

"Cis" isn't a "made up ideological word requiring belief in gender identity." It is Latin for "on this side of." "Trans" is Latin for "on the other side of." So "cisgender" people are people "on this side of gender." "Transgender" people are people "on the other side of gender."

And gender identity isn't a "theory." It is an established scientific fact that humans posses an internal gender identity that is strongly correlated with, but not inextricable from, biological sex, and a small minority of humans suffer from gender dysphoria in which their internal gender identity does not match the external gender expression traditionally associated with their biological sex. These people are "transgender." Everyone else is "cisgender." These are scientifically accurate labels. Neither are slurs.

Well he replatformed the Confederates and the Nazis and the anti-vaxxers and the cult, regardless of their previous infractions and bans, and now this...
It sounds like you're upset that Elon Musk isn't a homosexual activist.

Of course it is. Your use of words like "Nazi" and "Confederates" (i.e. KKK) etc. gave it away.
dude. are you unable to even see the hypocrisy of a guy who spoke so much about free speech being a weak wimp because of...

...words??

If I were a LGBT'er who cried about not being able to use LGBT made-up words like "cis" and "cis gender" to harass others who post on Twitter, I suppose I would cry "hypocrisy!"

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but wasn't Elon Musk banned from the company he eventually bought because of his political ideology, and not because he used "slurs" towards others?

Heck, if Musk wanted Twitter to remain the liberal cesspool that Twitter was before he bought it, why buy it?

I first heard the term in high school. There was a Roman province called 'Cis-alpine Gaul'. Julius Caesar was governor of 'Trans-alpine Gaul'. That's where his 'Chronicles' came from, he conducted military campaigns in summer out of his province (which became 'Provence') into Gaul proper and wrote about them in winter.

Except you're wrong, cis isn't a made-up word. It's Latin. It means on this side as opposed to trans, on the other side.
It's also used in science.

It's yet another thing that the LGBT movement has hijacked ("gay" the rainbow, etc.)
