Remember AOC, the one term congress woman...according to the right?

I'm shaking in my boots! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

iu
That gives her a step above the current POTUS who is a miserable failure in all three departments. He does beat her in the category of felony convictions, and assault charges.

Damn, how do people get their news from sites the the NY Post and the Daily Mail? All those pop-up ads and embedded videos give me a headache. It is ruthlessly distracting from the actual content which, in these cases, wasn't much.

I don't think AOC will run in 2026 with the intention of becoming President. She might make run to put a toe in the water to test her national popularity and possibly try to leverage that, if it's good enough, into the VP slot. She has time and knows she needs more experience to be really effective in the White House. Maybe she'll run against Schumer in 2028. Or lobby for a Cabinet position.

That's exactly backward.

Why am I not surprised?

I hope the Democratic Party survives her.
Why wouldn't we?
We need to worry about surviving your orange cheeto before aoc.
Cheeto ruins america enough you could see a wild swing back to blue , and with that we crush maga and detain everyone in this administration

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Plots 2028 Showdown

Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is reported to be laying the groundwork for a 2028 presidential run—or a challenge to Chuck Schumer’s Senate seat.

The New York progressive, 35, has been barnstorming the country this year, pushing well beyond her Bronx–Queens base, and has poured millions into her already muscular digital machine—moves designed to keep both the White House and the Senate in play.

Her upstate forays could be the beginning of a statewide campaign, or even the start of a foray into the 2028 presidential race, according to allies cited in a report by Axios.

I think she will capture Schumer's seat and I also think it's a good move before running for president. The right knew she was a threat from the start, that's why they immediately tried to make her look like a 'bimbo', pardon the expression. She's another young, smart, aggressive democrat willing to take on the gop and fight for we the people and not the oligarchs.

She has less than zero chance of becoming president. She is popular in NY but has no national support, because she is too extreme. She may win Schumer senate seat but that is as far as she will ever get.

I still don't believe she has presidential aspirations at this time, BUT I think if she were to run, she'd attract quite a following and could be a king maker when all the dust settles. Her endorsements would help enormously.

What do you think is her most extreme position?

We are an ignorant culture when it comes to politics and civics and our own blasted constitution. We wave it around like it means something but we've reduced the constitution to the second amendment.
"We are a hatefully ignorant culture when it comes to politics and civics."

If you can't let go of hate, you can't find compromise, on which EVERY democracy is dependent, you cannot have a democracy. Please note the US constitution amended how many times? Each was progressive step AND compromise. When you kill compromise you commit civic suicide.

In Canada, the disrespect shown by politicians toward opponents generally would make one un-electable. However, the right, behind the Progressive Conservative Party and Pierre Poilievre "Pepper Pooper" is growing angrier and more combative than any other time in its history, in part, I believe, driven by MAGA and Trump. To date Prime Minister Bland hasn't taken the bait.

Until now, such personalized campaigning has backfired, and cost its perpetrators their jobs. I hope that repeats.

Sorry, I know all about AOC and her positions. I find her refreshingly idealistic. Hope a little of her rubs off on our next candidate (that I don't think will be her). I was just curious what you found the most extreme, after declaring her TOO extreme for America. Healthcare? Housing? what?

Please no. The U.S. has proven in no uncertain terms that it will no allow anyone with ovaries to be president.

You mean, by giving millions more votes to Hillary than her opponent, despite how unlikeable she is and stealing it from Bernie? Or you mean Harris, who had a hundred days to run, and is not a good candidate, and defended the genocide? I don't know how the 'anti-woman' and 'pro-woman' vote balances but a woman CAN be elected. And a woman if nominated in 2028 likely would be, if Republicans don't steal it.

Do you have a likely candidate in mind?

Asked and answered.

I dunno, it's more about her being a dumbass than anything else. Is it me or does it look like her ass is getting bigger? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

What is the point of this?

Who do you foresee paying for all of her idealistic wet dreams?

Yes I did.

That is a lie.

I didn’t claim I did. I proved I did. You even quoted the post which I did.
What a silly game you are playing. You did not answer the very simple question of "what do you find her most extreme position". Why do you keep claiming you did? You simply posted a link to her website. That's not answering anything. Does this dishonest bs usually work for you? Because it's not now.

Same people willing to pay for Trump's tariff experiment? Every major advance this country has made over the past 250 years has come with a complaint of who is going to pay for it. If the majority of the people want the program, a way to fund it will be found.

Agree and agree.

I hope she does not run for president as I think MAGA would pose a life threatening risk to her that the Secret Service could not prevent.

I’m not claiming anything. You are fully aware that I did, and you even quoted it.

Which has her positions on it.

Non sequitur. Nothing I said was dishonest. You keep lying and claiming I didn’t do what you specifically quoted me doing.

So we can accomplish everything on her utopian hard-on list without raising taxes?
