Mexico has said it would take refugees.

You have to walk the length of Mexico to get to America.

How is it legal for refugees to pick not the nearest country to make an asylum claim in, but a country a country or two away?

Obama had the South American policies that reduced boarder crossings, Trump is just an abusive answer to the problem he created by disposing of everything Obama.

Why can’t they come to America? Do you think in people’s minds it’s a toss up between Mexico and the United States? I don’t.

Why doesn't Biden simply put Obama's policies back in place if they worked? Why the need to assign his VP the task of figuring out the root cause if he already knows the solution?

Your answer does not add up.
 
I think the solution to asylum seekers is for us to have judges in embassies that can take their claims and whatever paper work is necessary so they can evaluate and render a decision as quickly as possible. If the decision is no then they don't have to be deported back and if yes then they can be allowed to come. I'm sure there are many points that I didn't take into consideration but I as a rough draft, it makes sense to me.

That is because you do not have full calculator.

Everything in your calculator is trying to equate to your side winning.

Biden is exactly putting Obama's policies back in place, but it will take time, and, as Obama called on Biden to come up with his policies, so Biden calls on Harris.

I think root cause is our words, if Biden used it in his speech, well good for him.

I am sure Biden and Harris are doing everything they can to cure South America.

I heard somewhere that they are trying to do this now.

But even then, shouldn't Mexico be the country they claim asylum in? Mexico is their neighbor. They have to walk a thousand miles to reach the American border.

Don't worry, even if we took in millions of refugees it wouldn't mean ****.

We've only got twenty-thousand we could take a hundred times more before we'd be stuffed up to the pants with them (wear high-waters).

If people from Mexico were all coming to Canada, would you expect the US government to grant asylum because Mexico is America's neighbor? Would it be acceptable to just let them all just stay there, or should Canada let them in because that's their destination?
 
Canada has a treaty with the US that states each country will be responsible for asylum claims based on the country of first arrival. The US needs to negotiate the same with Mexico but they haven't and that includes Trump.
