Quite false. Men (and women) do talk openly about it and do try to seek help. There are many guys in the NFL with some history of domestic violence, and you're kidding yourself if you think it's not discussed amongst players. What a silly argument. Every man that hits women keeps quiet about it.
The rest of this is mental masturbation on your part and has nothing to do with my post. Perhaps time would be better spent educating yourself on the issue rather than posing stupid questions with no logical relation to what you're responding to.What do you think that is something that guys put on their match.com profile (Faults: "sometimes I beat women, I am working on that one…"). Do want a system in the NFL where as long as the wife or spouse that gets beat publicly forgives her spouse for it, there is no penalty? "Baby I am so sorry I did this. I don't know what came over me…. It's the stress on the field… I am so, so, so sorry, but you got to forgive me or I could get thrown out of the NFL…"
It's minimal standard. If you want to make millions in the NFL, don't hit women.
Keep in mind that the NFL doesn't have an organization ruling over it the way Rice has/had the NFL ruling over him. Hence, the NFL's 'punishment' will take some time. It's a bit ironic that the NFL's efforts to cover this up and let him off lightly have really backfired and, so far, the only one paying the price is Rice and his wife. If the NFL acted properly, and looked at the tape, they could have given him a 6 or 8 game suspension and this would barely be in the news. They even could have given him the 2 games, then admitted they screwed up, and given him more.
Now, they have killed their credibility and Rice doesn't even have a team. Just a huge screw up by all involved.
Which part of this post makes it ok to punch someone out and drag them away by their feet? What part of my opinion do you take issue with? She says she forgives him. So what? Do I have to?
Seriously - a whore? You have no idea about their relationship and maybe she had enough and snapped, finally trying to stand up for herself only to get knocked out for the effort and put back in her place, which she now is. Maybe she isn't strong enough to leave him yet but that certainly doesn't make her a whore for not reporting it.
Nope. Don't buy it. First of all, it isn't just that she didn't report it. It's that she didn't report it. That she sat with him and took blame for it. That she went into counseling for domestic violence because of it. That she married him. And that she's still taking blame for it.
If that wasn't done for $10 million, I'll eat my hat.
But you haven't talked to her have you? So in truth, you don't know anything about the situation, but are instead sitting on your high horse pretending to know. Like I said, she's got friends. And while there are times where the woman herself won't say anything, that doesn't stop her friends from saying something does it? Face it, your only seeing what you want to see.
Money might be one of the reasons she is staying with her husband. She might still love him and has some idiotic idea he will change, she might be living in denial and somehow thinks it's her fault that her husband beats her or she might be too scared to leave him.Nope. Don't buy it. First of all, it isn't just that she didn't report it. It's that she didn't report it. That she sat with him and took blame for it. That she went into counseling for domestic violence because of it. That she married him. And that she's still taking blame for it.

If you knew anything about spousal abuse victims then you would know that most of them will make excuses for their abuser because they live in denial, too afraid to leave their spouse or have some other reason for staying with their spouse other than love. This wasn't a accident that she was hit. She did not accidentally run into his fist.Wife beaters do not hit their wife only once. This is why many states have no-drop policies or mandatory arrest and prosecution policies for domestic violence.
OK thanks, so he didn't act according the established guidelines, but used his discretion instead. I'm not sure for what purpose, as Rice was initially charged with assault by the Atlantic City police in the early hours of Feb. 15. But on March 27, an Atlantic City grand jury, presumably after watching all the Revel casino security camera videos, increased the charge to aggravated assault-bodily injury in the third degree and one count of simple assault. If convicted, Rice could have faced a penalty of three to five years in prison.
With these charges, should Rice have gotten a deal?
Key words in there was "most". What if this is the ONE and ONLY case where that is wrong? Then everyone is making a fool out of themselves. Instead of making this case about the Ray Rice incident, people want to make this a crusade against all domestic violence abusers. I repeat, we have no evidence that there was been any other incidents between those two. We have no friends of hers that have stepped on her behalf to say otherwise. We have no hospital or police reports that show that this wasn't the first time this event happened. Until we have evidence that this wasn't a one off incident, then we shouldn't be lumping in Ray Rice with all the deadbeats that constantly abuse wives.
Spousal abuse victims do not always go the hospital, file police reports or tell their friends that their husband beats their ass.
Domestic violence is not a one time thing. She did not accidentally run into his fist.
His discretion was/is within established guidelines.
This is the second line of the guidelines:
"The objective of PTI is to provide defendants charged with victimless or less serious offenses an opportunity to avoid prosecution and receive early rehabilitative services".
near the bottom of the page is says:
"Who is generally not admitted into the PTI program:
Defendants charged with violent offenses"
Janay Rice is the victim and the charges against Ray Rice were violent (aggravated assault-bodily injury in the third degree and one count of simple assault).
It was prosecutor Jim McClain's choice along with Judge Michael Donio that gave Rice a pass by ignoring the primary objective of the RTI program. Rice did not qualify fro the start.
Here's a good article posted by ttwtt78640 -
Uneven playing field? Judge, prosecutor who let Ray Rice walk toss book at single mom | Fox News
Prosecutor Jim McClain and the Judge should be questioned by everyone.

Maybe they are right. She might have refused to make him a sandwich, get him a beer or walk around the house barefoot and pregnant. She might have offered her opinion on something.(sarcasm)Tell that to Henrin and Joko. They clearly think Rice was provoked.
I wonder if she'd be Mrs. Ray Rice now if that punch hadn't been caught on camera? I'm guessing not, but obviously only they can answer that question.

Or maybe she loves him, and he loves her.
Yes, we always deliver a left hook to those we love and then kick them to find out if they're still conscious and drag them like a bag of garbage out of elevators. :lamo
