None of my extended family, including those still running those farms, still drinks raw milk and they do not sell raw milk from their farms, all milk being collected by the local dairy company for pasteurization and homogenization.

Most people seeking raw milk are getting from a supplier of unknown quality.

But even if they take the utmost precaution, it only takes a handful of bacteria to kill someone.

Drinking raw milk is little different from Russian roulette.

Government has a positive duty to act in the best interest of its citizens, particular when they engage in behavior that they clearly do not understand the consequences of. Moreso when children are involved.

The Federal Government bans raw milk in interstate commerce and rightly so.

States should at least ban the consumption of raw milk by children and make it a felony for the parents if a child becomes ill from raw milk.

I've been buying shelf stable UHT milk ever since Trump began attacking the FDA.
I buy Lala brand and it's "sort of" price competitive with refrigerated dairy milk but it keeps six months on the shelf and only needs to be chilled after opening.
Tastes exactly like milk because it is milk.

Even my wife, who has been documented as having over twice the normal number of taste buds, a so called "supertaster" seems to think it's just like regular dairy milk and she
craves milk with great gusto, so she is very particular. I caught Hell for foisting 2% milk on her early in our marriage back when I thought 2% was healthier.

By "sort of" I mean, it's a lot cheaper than being hospitalized for listeriosis or any food born disease.
It's about a dollar fifty to two dollars higher per gallon than regular refrigerated dairy milk.
