Mike Pompeo Doesn’t Rule Out Serving in 2nd Trump Administration

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a new interview that he’s not ruling out accepting a White House position if former President Donald Trump is reelected in November.

“If I get a chance to serve and think that I can make a difference ... I’m almost certainly going to say yes to that opportunity to try and deliver on behalf of the American people,” he told Fox News, when asked during a interview if he would work for President Trump again.

The only problem here is that there is no indication that Trump wants him back and, given his actions during Trump first term, it is highly unlikely Trump will ask him back.

For example...

Yeah, I think Pompeo has political ambitions and is probably just exercising those ambitions here. I think Yrump would be bad enough without an ex oil exec in his cabinet.

...so they can try to sink it again.

What sort of discussion is this supposed to generate?

None.

Got any threes? No? Go fish.

Trump better not be too quick to dismiss anyone

What sort of discussion is this supposed to generate?
An epoch discussion between red state children while sipping orange Kool-Aid in their treehouse.

I'll contribute.

Trump's handlers? I thought trump made all the decisions...by himself.

Orban and Putin also want to be part of Trump's dictatorship as well.

He probably doesn't have expectations of serving in any sort of high capacity; he's putting that out there so that he doesn't get exiled. This is how Washington really works. People leave office but they remain part of the ecosystem forever. They lobby. They serve on boards. They get paid a lot post-career because of their access to people in power. Pompeo, like many others, sough to distance himself from Trump after January 6th. Now that he realizes the Republican party is the MAGA party, he wants back in.

Because Pompeo's lips are puckered.

“I’m confident President Trump will be looking for people who will faithfully execute what it is he asked them to do,”

He said that as a former secretary of state, “I certainly wanted my team to do what I was asking them to do and was enormously frustrated when I found that I couldn’t get them to do that.”

Positions will be based on ass kissing only. Pompeo is ready to kiss ass. He's blaming his failure on his subordinates' refusal to kiss ass. He's ready to go full rectum now. It's gonna be a ten-mile Conga line of lip to ass.

Fact checking sites are all pro-leftist, didn't ya know?
Of course that's not true. Alter Net.

There are leftwing CT sites, as well. Caitlin Johnstone.

The reaction from the right is to call MBFC a leftist website, and the reaction from the left is to just ignore the bias.

For the average consumer, MBFC is a good starting reference in my opinion.

That is true, only yes men need apply. Pompeo will pucker up and faithfully execute whatever the master wants - if he gets a chance to.

I was mimicking the arguments Righties always resort to - that factchecking sites are all leftist sites. I use mediabiasfactcheck often and each time I do, that is THEIR complaint.

Tl, dr:

Trump made another shitty hire and is likely to do so again, possibly even with the same person.

And you still support him.
