A conservative-leaning poll released Monday showed President Trump with his lowest approval ratings in almost a year.

The Rasmussen poll found that 43 percent of likely voters polled approve of Trump's job performance, his lowest mark in the poll since January of 2018, when his approval was at 42 percent.

You know if Rasmussen has it at 43%, extant approbation is notably lower.

Exactly. When Trump is below 45 even on Rasmussen, that's gotta be sending some chills to Trump's reelection campaign.

It was bad enough that they they felt they needed to brag when he was a mere 47% on Rasmussen. They couldn't put their eggs in the basket of hope that he would cross into 50% territory any time soon even on that rightleaning poll. Now 43%? He needs to watch out for that Republican federal worker flank that he's in denial about. Some of them are trying to maintain faith in him, but many are feeling shafted by the person they supported.

What was Trump's Rasmussen approval rating when he lost some 30 GOP incumbent seats, in gerrymandered districts no less? 49%

The point of the OP isn't whether Rasmussen's polls are valid or not valid, good, reliable or otherwise. The point is that the most "Trump-adoring" ostensibly legit poll there is has him at a horrible 43% approval, which means his sorry ass is losing ground even when the polling methodology tilts in his favor.

They are biased, in favor of conservatism. So, if their poll, which is slanted to conservative viewpoints have Trump as that far underwater, his actual numbers are worse.

They are biased and that is why it is so damning to see him drop so much even with their biased polling that over counts Republicans.

Rasmussen is the poll that has him at the highest rating. The CNN poll has him at 37%.

Take a look at this wikipedia page with graphs regarding past Presidents and their approval ratings. The one chart that caught my attention the most is the 3rd graph that shows Trump starting extremely low and staying extremely low throughout his Presidency. Most Presidents started high and then fell. Some Presidents had roller coaster rides with ups and downs but no one started low and stayed low. In addition, on the 14 Presidents they show here, only Bush got a lower rating but he started high and then fell throughout his Presidency. Trump started low and has stayed low, in spite of a good economy, a rising Stock Market, and a support base that supports him no matter what.

These charts certainly suggest that Trump has been and will continue to be the "worst of the worst"

The Rasmussen poll found that 43 percent of likely voters polled approve of Trump's job performance, his lowest mark in the poll since January of 2018, when his approval was at 42 percent. The poll also found that 55 percent of respondents disapprove of Trump's performance, including 46 percent who strongly disapprove. Another 32 percent strongly approve the job Trump is doing. According to Rasmussen, Trump's approval rating has slipped since his prime-time address last week in which he claimed that a border wall is necessary to confront a "humanitarian crisis" at the border.

Although Rasmussen is typically kinder to Trump than other mainstream polls, it is now the third poll in two days that shows Trumps popularity is in the dumpster.

Is the Congressional GOP is paying attention? They are attached to Trump at the hip and if he crashes with the people, so do they. Trumps hostages-shutdown is a reckless and injurious idea.

Well, considering that his support base is estimated to be about 36% of the population, it would suggest that only 7% of the rest of the population approve. Then again, if you look at the CNN poll and an approval rating of 37%, it would suggest that only 1% approve and even a cockroach can get a 1% approval rating/

Oh, little would please me more than a Senate supermajority (all Democratic or a coalition of Dems and GOP-ers, makes no difference to me) that detests Trump.

When Obama took office, he had an approval rating of 67%. By August of that year, it had fallen to 50%. A year later it was down to 43% in Gallup's poll.
