Rand Paul (R) on Newsmax (pretty much) calls bullshit on Trump just killing people in a boat. Says what if they were fleeing/etc.

Bottom line here is a boat headed for the U.S. coast with 11 unknown persons and what according to analysts looks like drugs on board. At the least they are probably illegals attempting to breach our protected borders. At worst they are drug runners with drugs that will kill an unknown number of Americans. The amount is unknown for sure but the vast majority of these deaths involved synthetic opioids, primarily illicitly manufactured fentanyl. In 2023, nearly 73,000 deaths involved synthetic opioids other than methadone and these numbers appear to have risen.

I'm much more worried about the number of deaths to Americans from illegal drugs brought by criminals into the country than the possibility of a boat load of illegal immigrants trying to illegally enter the nation. Both problems are real and both deserve serious measures implemented to stop them.

There has been no verifiable proof, except "the boat has 4 motors, which drug runners typically use".
Trump claimed it was a drug boat.
He lies daily. I wouldn't trust anything he says.
I'm pretty sure Trump didn't identify the boat, didn't seek permission to act nor verify before the action was taken. So who did verify the boat was drug runners? The military doesn't fire unless fired upon or unless they recieve clearance.

So are you claiming the above dialogue actually occurred or did you make it up?
Do you have proof that the target was not verified?
Don't you think the burden of proof rests with the state unilaterally deciding to kill someone?

You're not a moron, you know that wasn't a literal verbatim conversation and you're well aware it wasn't presented as such.

You troll in every single post you make.

He did identify the boat.

"President Donald Trump says the US has carried out a strike against a drug-carrying vessel in the southern Caribbean, killing 11 "narcoterrorists".

He posted on social media that Tuesday's US military operation had targeted members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

Trump said the vessel was in international waters and was transporting illegal narcotics bound for the US."

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office on Tuesday, Trump said that US forces had "shot out" a "drug-carrying boat" in the vicinity of Venezuela.

"A lot of drugs in that boat," he said.

Do you wonder how an open boat filled with so called drugs and 11 people is going to go all the way from Venezuela to the US without refueling and going through hurricane season on both coasts? I find it hard to believe that this is what the trump administration says it was.
I watch many documentaries and those are, in fact, the boats that are used for drug smuggling. Whether this one was, I don't know.
You think drug runs are halted because of hurricane season?
