Oh no! Rand Paul finally sees the light!

Grabbing 'em by the p&%ssy - no issues!

Illegal payoffs to prostitutes were fine.

Bribery of Ukrainian President for dirt on political opponent was normal. He actively worked to acquit Trump.

Purposefully mishandling COVID as it would affect Blue States more - no problem.

Coup attempts perfectly good! He actively worked to dismiss the second impeachment trial.

Pardoning Jan 6 violent criminals that attacked law enforcement - all good stuff!

Continuous corruption and anti science stance - applauded.

So, what did cause Rand Paul to finally see the light and finally "lose a lot of respect" for Trump? Are you ready? It's a big one! ....

He was disinvited from a picnic.

"The level of immaturity is beyond words,” Paul said of the White House, adding that he’s lost “a lot of respect” for Trump.

P.S. I am sure it's a limited time deal - by tomorrow he will regain all the respect and more.

Well, his calculus is that MAGA Jesus will be out of office by 2028, as he's running for re-election. But, out of office doesn't mean out of power.

I don't know, I kind of doubt he is going with:

"He was immature. He disinvited me from a picnic! Vote for me! -Rand Paul"

That pretty much sums up the depth of conviction of the elected Republican in Washington...

That's hilarious.

During the 2016 campaign, Paul alleged that if you supported Trump you didn't support the Constitution.

Musta forgot.

Rut-Roh

Have the calls to primary Paul begun yet?

Rand Paul should consider himself lucky. Likely it would just be hamburgers that had been sitting around for a while.

Rand Paul is my hero; he should be president.

You forgot about Rand Paul's opposition to Trump's tariffs and the big, beautiful bill. That's why Rand Paul got disinvited from the picnic. He also refused to endorse Trump in 2024, so the picnic was not the only reason he turned against Trump.

He’s just discovered that dear leader is petty, immature and vindictive.

Rand Paul should be cultivating Trump's respect instead of demeaning Trump's Big Beautiful Bill, so now he's disinvited from a wonderful bipartisan picnic, and Trump knows how to throw a picnic.

MAGA.

Did Rand Paul stand up to trump when he was being impeached? That would have actually been heroic….

Rand Paul should be cultivating Trump's respect instead of demeaning Trump's Big Beautiful Bill,
Rand Paul has been cultivating Donald Trump's respect for the past 10 years. He defended him during his impeachment trial and has been a loyal ally for many years, but Trump has repaid his loyalty by kicking dirt in his eye over a policy disagreement. What happened to MAGA unity?
so now he's disinvited from a wonderful bipartisan picnic, and Trump knows how to throw a picnic.
Rand Paul deserves a Happy Meal for his service to this great nation.
You are a perfect example of Donald Trump's MAGA cult of personality; you are incapable of disagreeing with Trump on any issue, even if it means adding BILLIONS to the national debt and raising spending to Biden levels.

Rand Paul, for better or worse, supported Trump during his impeachment trial. I honestly don't blame him when voting for impeachment ended the career of his buddy Justin Amash, but I can see how you would find it cowardly to oppose Trump's impeachment. Personally, I don't think Trump's Ukraine phone call was an impeachable offense, so I defend Rand Paul opposing impeachment.

Then he is a coward that supports killing my representatives. There is no grey area. You either vote to convict on something so goddamn obvious or you are a coward on a subhuman level and a traitor to our republic.

Rand Paul became no better than any enemy of the US.

that's quite a lot . Paul should be happy over not funding Ukraine, but he's too busy becoming a #neverTrump

It isn't about the picnic, this is about the felon being a bully.
Please tell me that Rand didn't just realize that.

A short visit to Truth Social will disabuse you of the notion Rand Paul was ever a member of our MAGAsphere, and the Happy Meal slap-down is brilliant - sure, give Rand one, it'll make him happy, so I realize you are trying to gaslight the lib-progs gathered about gawking at your supposed defense of Paul, an endeavor I vigorously encourage.

Please carry on.

MAGA.

None of the MAGAs get it until it affects them personally.

Biggest group of selfish people I've ever seen.
Also the most short sighted. Is he supposed to be an ophthalmologist? Maybe he should get himself some new glasses. They are walking around like Mr. Magoo, and getting surprised they keep banging into walls.

Who would’ve foreseen that supporting a convicted criminal and known grifter was not going to end well?

This is no small deal. A lot of people don’t know this, but Brutus decided to take part in the assassination of Julius Caesar after the Roman general disinvited him from a picnic.

In all seriousness, the best vote I ever cast for president was for RON Paul during the 2012 GOP primary. Rand Paul is NOT the man his father was.
