I'm confused. Why does everyone always bring everything down to race? A white guy gets nominated, people cry racism against all minorities. A hispanic gets nominated, we start accusing said latino of hate crimes. Isn't the point of appointment supposed to be about the nominee's stance on issues like abortion, gun-rights, freedom of speech, etc? I was under the impression that what mattered was beneath the surface...then that idiot on CNN accused Sotomayor of being a Latino KKK member. Then this guy on MSNBC brought up this white vs. latino thing. And a little bit of topic, but Fox then said that Sotomayor was too empathic, for inferior courts making specific rules ( like they are supposed to) and once again: race. What the hell is wrong with everyone?

People who are always defending against racism are so cool.

It's not like the brown people could defend for themselves! Good thing we have so many people who are hypersensitive to race and can jump in at any second to remind us how racist we are.

Yeah, then we can all do it all over again, a few months later, while wasting precious time on a stupid subject like racism in nominations.

There is no racism in nominations when people simply vote for the other guy.

As we were assured was the reason that anybody who didn't vote for Obama was because they were racist.

You know, if you're referring to this forum, we are on the internet and any assumption that race-defenders are white is rather silly.

In terms of the real world, how many NAACP chairpeople are white?
