I was reading another thread and it popped into my head that maybe there are some out there that still believe Obama was not born in the US. Just wondering what the current status of this is.

Really??

Trump's entire political career started with the birther issue. I don't know about anyone on this forum, but I have no doubt some (even if now a small amount), still believe in Trump's birther nonsense.

Who freaking cares!

Who cares?...the Constitution requires the president to be born according to law to US citizens...not necessary in the US but according to law. US military for example but there are other requirement that have been law for years.

YES HE WAS!

And my anti-Trump threads are stupid. Why do you guys keep going back to stories from 2007/2008? Was the 2012 election not exciting enough?

Thank you for the lesson!

This has been repaved over and over again for about 10 years..........................thanks!

Of course he was, but let's be honest, he isn't in office, we can't go back in time, so it doesn't make a damn bit of a difference whether he was or not.

People need to grow the hell up.

All of your anti-Trump threads are stupid. I'm not really sure what you have to gain with them. You're not going to change anyone's minds into hating Trump that liked him before. In fact, many of those anti-Trump threads make the OP look so ridiculous it hurts you more than it helps you.

That's interesting coming from a guy who made this Obama CT thread ten years after that story has already been told to death. The difference between that and me is that Trump is still doing bad stuff every day.

Whew! Then you'll be happy to know that it was proven that Obama was born here.

Hey, I've always believed Obama was born in the US and voted that way here. I was kind of curious, after reading another thread, if there were any actual people left that believed he was not born in the US. Trump only does bad stuff every day if you are a liberal who doesn't like what he does. Thanks for confessing.

Sadly there are still easily fooled or overly desperate folks out there that pathetically hold onto this delusional notion. Most people do not.

 You don't have to be a liberal to not like what Trump does. You do have to be an idiot to still believe Obama wasn't born in this country. I guess those people are still waiting for Trump's investigators to get him the evidence. :lamo

Obama is not an American period, and this is coming from someone who can't stand Hillary or Trump as they're both illuminati puppets.

Obama was born in a hut in Kenya by a witch doctor

Ummmmmmmmmmm. Not one person so far has voted no on the poll. By the way, your posting makes it obvious that your username is NeverGOP, not NeverTrumpGOP.

Just as a gentle reminder. President Trump had a very long, diverse, interesting, and successful career long before it was HILLARY CLINTON who raised the birther issue when she started her 2008 campaign. And once she got the ball rolling and nobody was able to get convincing evidence one way or the other, the Donald got involved. Most likely not out of any personal interest but just to see if he could succeed where so many others had failed. He likely did succeed at least on the birth certificate but not on the college entrance papers that were also of interest back then.

He also is the one who convincingly put the matter to rest until somebody decides to stir the pot again.

There will always be some. Right along with flat-earthers, Holocaust deniers, moon landing deniers, and those who don't like ice cream. Absurd people, all of them.

1. Hillary Clinton was not a birther, despite the faulty trump narrative you are pushing.

2. Trump had been talking about running for president since the 1980's, but nobody ever took him seriously. It wasn't until 2011 when he latched onto the birther theory nonsense that kickstarted his political career with the GOP, and helped him garner support from the far right, that led to his winning the GOP nomination and presidency.

And he put nothing to rest. Your under the laughable assumption that Trump's onion on anything is even relevant. He didn't even believe the birther crap, he just used it to pander to racist GOP voters who were (and still are) convinced Obama is a racist foreign born Muslim.

I think they all believe it because Trump does. I think they just stopped saying it.

It's moot re Obama, he's done and out. It's not moot in a general sense, as it encourages and fosters similar claims with specious evidence regarding others in the future.
