Qatari Emir and Debby to Attend Ceremony for Doha Document Termination
The Chadian President Idriss Debby has been invited to attend a ceremony for the expiry of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur scheduled for this 20 July 2016.
President Al Bashir invited his Chadian counterpart Idriss Debby to take part in a ceremony scheduled for marking the expiry of Qatar’s brokered peace agreement in Darfur.
North Darfur government, for its part, announced that Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar, will also attend the event.
Sudan Chief of National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) Lt. Gen Mohamed Atta handed a written letter from President Al Bashir to President Debby, inviting him to attend the ceremony in El-Fashir.
