Putin lies with a purpose. He calculates - or miscalculates.
Trump lies because he can't help himself. Lying is one of Trump's most prominent psychopathologies, and he has many.

Since this thread drifted toward Biden a bit anyway, let me throw out a sub-subject:
I don't contest the point that Trump has lied a lot, probably more than any other politician.
But in terms of QUALITY rather than QUANTITY--
Which of his prevarications is as bad as Joe Biden claiming, on no evidence, that Kyle Rittenhouse was a white supremacist?
I have a theory as to which falsehood Trump-haters will choose, but am curious to see what they will say.
