Trump Nation has long given up the right to pretend that anything outside of their shrinking extremist camp is "partisan."

With over half of the military disapproving of Trump in the summer, along with even Republican organizations endorsing Biden, the idea that criticism towards Trump and his nation of traitors is simply a matter of "partisan" is just a transparent joke anymore. There's doing the right thing for the country, and then there's Trump Nation and its new right-wing Party.

Trump Nation was very much represented on January 6. All of Trump Nation chose to believe in the lie. All supported Trump's attempt to get Pence to toss the Electoral College. And all support the GOP's game to pretend that nothing happened and that none of them are to blame.

What does that have to do with Garland being a hard partisan?
 
So I wonder what those of you (who suggest Babbitt was murdered) think about the fact Trump had absolutely nothing to offer up over her death. I mean shouldn't he have been on Twitter admonishing the officer for shooting a frail unarmed woman? Did he contact her family to offer condolences that she died fighting for him? Maybe pay for her funeral service? Even a short--oh that's too bad, comment?

In fact did he comment on any of his supporters that died that day? The "recovering" Meth addict who OD? Either of the guys that had a heart attack? Talk about a slap in the face.

I haven’t seen anyone support the behavior. They just don’t believe the killing of Babbitt was justified.

Exactly. Protests often get out of hand but that doesn't mean you kill the participants.

Well, as we have seen for years, anybody who doesn't tow the Trump line or dare show disloyalty against him becomes either a "rino" or a "leftist." And as the scandals grew and the poor decisions began to earn criticism from even Republican organizations, Trump Nation dug in even deeper into their GroupThink mentality that it was a unified right against a unified left.

So the idea that a so-called very conservative seeks to brand anybody against Trump Nation a simple "partisan" is a joke.

Babbitt had a batch of her home baked cookies she wanted to share with Congress (and of course Mike Pence). She needed to climb through that window because the cookies were getting cold and wouldn't be as tasty. Those other people all wanted some too, but she said they had to wait until Pence got his. 🍪

Protesting all the way through the halls of Congress, smashing windows and desecrating offices, in the hunt for Senators. The victimhood is heavy here.

True, some did that. The remainder, numbering in the thousands, were just protesting. However Ashli Babbitt did not deserve to be murdered.

FYI, she wasn't "murdered." The shooter was cleared of any/all charges, which would include your fallacious claim of "murder."

It is very true. Shall I prove it? Why don't I start with all the military Veterans that Trump denigrated while Trump Nation supported. Or perhaps I can just produce the revolving door in his Administration that involved calling those who left disloyal. Of course, there is always those fellow Republicans who were given the choice to either serve Trump or be chastised as traitors to the Party. Rino is a term used by Republicans and conservatives alike. Either serve the Party or be branded.

No matter what, Trump nation did nothing and relied on their seething, irrational hatred for "the left" to help them ignore what Trump routinely did in their name. This blind loyalty is what led Trump Nation to defend a communist dictator in Russia over America. This whole thread is about Putin's support for Trump Nation and its attack on Congress and the American Constitution! And what has Trump nation done here? They have chosen to see Putin as an ally who cares about their "political" victimhood!!

Maybe you need to look how quick Pence was tossed under the bus. Look at the tweet Trump put out when Pence stated he wasn't going to interfere in the count. Look at people like wacky Wood screaming that Pence needed to resign and be charged with treason. In fact he went as far as to suggest Pence face an execution by firing squad.

Look over the four years even prior to Jan 6th. Trump would bring in whoever, talk about how great they were, talk about the great job they were going to do. And then? That person did something stupid like pick the country over him. Right out of the gate he tossed Jeff Sessions to the curb because Session's followed the law. And the line just kept growing. Great guy, the crowd cheers. Oops the guy wouldn't lick my feet, he sucks, and the crowd screams HE SUCKS! Lifetime military who fought for our country? Nope they suck too because......they followed the law they swore to uphold and didn't kiss the kings feet.

So yes, start with Sessions and end with Pence. It's absolutely true.
