Putin’s TV attack dog calls for missile strike on NATO meeting in London

Goalpost change. Did it hurt your back when you moved them?

Why does it matter if foreign fighters are active duty military or paid mercenaries?

How do you know they are paid mercs?

Most people who went there are doing it because fighting for freedom is what they believe in. They aren't government sanctioned or gov't-paid.

So you are saying foreign volunteers in Ukraine aren't being paid by the Ukrainian government?

But not on approval of the U.S. government/military.

Keyword here: Volunteers
The U.S. government is absolutely dumb enough to try and invade Russia.

The “volunteers”, on the other hand, wouldn’t have a chance

So? He's still calling for Russia to be occupied.

Last i looked, he isn't a Trump appointee or some official government employee with the authorization to make such a decision or suggestion to superiors.

Yep. We're seeing this tribalist populism spreading like a cancer and the worst part is that "shining city on a hill" is the latest victim.
Roiling political violence will also be a fixture in the U.S. We know the other side doesn't know how to lose gracefully, or do anything gracefully.

One has to have grace and humility for that, and their chosen avatar is the literal opposite of that.

Trump, of course, does the exact opposite and wants to go for the throat of the opposition, even before the identity is known of the latest shooter.

What Trump wants is to do what he wants unchallenged or protested by anyone. It's what one expects from fragile egos seeking only endless approval. There's this pervasive sense of entitlement, as if everyone is just supposed to go along with everything despite the fact those very same people spent 4 years whinging and complaining about the former president and administration. None of this is rational.

I have given up waiting on NATO to do the sensible thing and arrange a few accidents for every Russian provocation.

I just cannot watch the bow-downs in the meetings anymore. Now he has the billionaires paying him homage by stroking his ego. Yes dear leader please continue to bring us profits your wonderfulness. It's nauseating and self demeaning.

I view it as comedy, albeit a sad comedy. It's something out of a Mel Brooks film.

The elites are the biggest house of cards out there. They will bow down to whomever lets them go about their business without government intervention.

It's one of the many faces of capitalism.
