Yes - people who celebrate or condone the assassination of anyone should expect consequences.

trivialize or downplay.............NOT celebrate or condone

That's your first mistake, second one is wanting people to be punished for expressing their personal opinions. This is still America, you know.

I see that you voted that people should suffer consequences if they downplay the assassination. Why do you believe that somebody saying "I don't think too much about it" or "it's not really important to me" should face consequences?

🤣

Like what?

Charlie Kirk was a fascist piece of shit, and the world is better now that he's no longer part of it.

What "consequences" should I expect for saying that?

Punished isn't the right word.
Held accountable, sure.
We have free speech, but that also means we may have consequences from that free speech.

You should be kidnapped and deported by trump and his Fascist thugs.

While I think it is very wrong minded to trivialize his death to do so should be met with disdain but not punishment. One of the fundamental principles of democracy is free speech. Take that away and you start to destroy that which made America great.

So you've taken a moment to perform CPR on a festering corpse.
