He is a bloviator for sure. I accept the flaws for my choice of someone who I prefer in politics. Not every one votes for the same issues.
He's a criminal who decided putting an R behind his name would gain him votes. That's who he is. You don't seem capable of seeing that.

I imagine the left have made many a consummate Trump supporter with their behavior.
Oh? Are you saying that being a spiteful person is an admirable trait? Because that's what all y'all trump supporters are. Look at the new Republican Congress. You'd hope that they'd be coming out of the gate with new proposals to fight inflation, solve the border crises or get energy prices down.... Nope... Their first order of business was hunter Biden's laptop. That's the horse your riding dear.

You love Trump because he's a victim? You think victims make good leaders?

If this isn't an expression of pure tribalism, then nothing is.
I voted for Trump before all the fricking liberal hate. I never saw Trump as a victim until the left wing media and all the witch hunting began.
I am anything but a tribalist. If anything I am an island.

No, you calling me an addict is typical of attacking the messenger.
I'm saying your statements make you appear to have blinders on like one under the influence of puppy love. It's just an observation. Why would that upset you?

Well, your riding the horse that caused all these problems. So there's' that!

Wow... You just admitted you were commenting out of spite. All I did was point out the flaw in your logic.

You voted for him only in 2016? Who did you vote for in 2020?
I never saw Trump as a victim until the left wing media and all the witch hunting began.
The point is that you see him as a victim. How in the hell can a victim lead the country?
I am anything but a tribalist. If anything I am an island.
Lol. Name the last Democrat you voted for. For POTUS.

You are putting the blinders on me. You are seeing the puppy love?? No one laughs more on here than I do, so stop "trying" to upset me with your false observation.

Where did I admit I was commenting out of spite? Perhaps you should concentrate on your flaw in your logic? I said I bought a MAGA hat out of spite.

I'm just pointing out the obvious. Maybe if that upsets you, it's striking a bit to close to home for you to remain in your comfort zone.

I voted for him in 2020 as well. Not because he was a victim.

Now let's be honest. Trump could come out for the campaign this time and be all straight laced, and act ever so Presidential. Would that change anyone's mind who hates him? They would complain that he is not himself, lol

Trump is not capable of that so... no.

Nope.

Derogatory and insulting terms are unproductive, except to dishonestly diminish public perception...and that's why they are used.

But accurate labels, such as "puppet" are okay, in my opinion.
So calling Trump an immoral, fraudulent con man, because it's accurate, is acceptable to you.

Your baiting me is not going to work, no matter how passive aggressive you get.

Here is a suggestion for you. If you can find it, watch the documentary called 'Where's My Roy Cohn'. If you pay attention, you will learn exactly what transformed Trump into the asshat he is. It's all there in black and white.

Roy Cohn did not end well. I suspect Trump will end up in a similar light. Supporting a guy like that is just plain misinformed. You can like some of his policies, but Trump is not on a pedestal. You have to be able to find another conservative who conforms to a civil society. Plenty others to support.

Where did I admit I was commenting out of spite? Perhaps you should concentrate on your flaw in your logic? I said I bought a MAGA hat out of spite.
My mistake. Post 83 you stated: "OMG- I have no "attachment" to Trump. I voted for him. I don't follow his every move, I don't donate to his campaign. I only bought a MAGA hat once because the left bashed the hat wearing so bad I did it out of spite, lol. So stop... and stop pretending to be independent too!" Once again, do you think doing things out of spite is an admirable trait?

I will make no bones about it; I don't like Joe Biden or in general the job he's doing. And I will be the first to admit that I have used some choice language myself, but here goes.

Part of me really does not like terms like "demented president" (or stronger), "puddle brain", or "potato head." Right after Trump was elected (I didn't vote for him in 2016) someone in synagogue referred to him as a "pig" and I definitely had something to say. At that point I had not yet shifted to being a mild, intermittent supporter of some of the actions of the 45th President.

However, the President, whether Biden, Trump or otherwise, stands on a higher plane, entitled to a modicum of respect. The use of terms like that is just wrong, even if one totally dislikes him. And truly, I believe that epithets have no place in dialog. They tend to end all rational discussion.
Our politics has gotten very ugly. The general public is bad enough and on boards like this it's bad some of the time. The so called news media is ridiculous with their coverage and total lack of professionalism. I want news stories, all the news stories and I don't appreciate some outlets ignoring important issues like our terrible border issues the last decade that just seems to keep worsening. I also don't like climate change coverage, the news and the politics are not supported by the science that's out there but the climate exaggeration goes on and on and the media on the left just keeps up the scare tactics and I just don't understand why they insist on this. Except they are liberal and have a huge social agenda. It's ok, though because at some point the truth will come out and the BS will fade. In the meantime I just have to shake my head at the "world is ending in 12 year" BS.
