Public's View Of Political Terms: "Progressive" More Positive Than"Conservative"

Re: Public's View Of Political Terms: "Progressive" More Positive Than"Conservative"

What is it with you people? Do you really think that insulting conservative pundits and the millions of people in their audiences makes you look intelligent? Do you think it changes people's minds, or in any way benefits those you support politically?

All it does is make you look angry, bitter, and politically desperate for using insults to intimidate people, just to try and neutralize opposing political viewpoints. It comes off as pathetic, not intellectual.

How do you think referring to an individual as "you people" makes you look? Do you think it makes you look intelligent, or changes people's minds?

Awwwww... Here, hope this helps:

"You people" = Those who think insulting conservative pundits and the millions of people in their audiences does anything but make them look angry, childish and politically desperate.

I believe I'm the only one posting under "dittohead not, and moreover, I did not insult "conservative pundits", nor even the subject of my post, El Rushbo. My reference to his "laughing all the way to the bank" was to his being able to make a pile of money by doing what he does best. That is not a sign of an unintelligent person. I didn't even insult his audience, but only the few sheeple who hang on his every word, take him seriously, and don't bother to think for themselves.

Actually, I agree with pbrauer: Limbaugh is an entertainer. He is not to be taken seriously, however.

If you did not insult them, then what's the problem?

I don't have any problems. You're the one who took exception to my post, and attributed it to a whole crowd of people.

Sorry man... It was the conversation you were having, not you in particular.

My mistake.

I was going to answer this post, but Limbaugh and Hannity haven't told me what to say yet ;)

My mistake.

That's OK.

We all forgive you.

(Sorry. I know that was silly, but I couldn't resist.)

At least I admit it when I make a mistake and apologize. I can't say that about most of the people I debate... Especially lately.
