Protesters Tear Down Confederate Statue

I'm glad I could correct all of your inaccuracies. Though, because of your rabidness, you probably missed the part where I granted you a possible correct assertion. I only asked you to provide specific information on it from a credible source. You failed to do even that.

No, no. I saw that. So, thank you. Hey, I am curious about your contention that trump has lost money while being in office. Will you share your evidence supporting that? I really want to know.

Donald Trump Net Worth 2018: Why the President'''s Fortune Fell | Money

Conversely, Obama made millions while in office.

From this article:

Some of the reported lost revenue was offset by gains at other Trump properties around the country, most notably office buildings in New York and San Francisco. Those saw an increase in value of $75 million.

And Trump International Hotel in Washington jumped in value to $100 million after gaining $30 million. The hotel and Trump’s ownership of it has faced scrutiny over potential conflicts of interest with foreign dignitaries staying at the property in an attempt to curry favor with the president. The Republican National Committee has also spent heavily at the property, paying out $271,000 on “venue and catering” expenses between the Washington hotel and Trump National Doral Miami in Florida in February.

Bloomberg’s latest estimate conflicts with rival publication Forbes. In March, Forbes reported a decline of $400 million to peg Trump’s net worth at $4.1 billion, citing a $41 million drop in Trump Tower’s value and the loss of a major Nike store in the adjacent 6 E. 57th street property in Manhattan.

The president has been accused of inflating his actual net worth for decades. Most recently, a former New York real estate reporter who previously helped Forbes compile its very first wealth list claimed Trump used to call him and exaggerate not only his net worth but the stake he had in his father's company in the 1980s.

So under the management of his children trump's business for which he hasn't put in a blind trust which is another trump impropriety, has experienced some gains and some losses. Was this incongruent to all other like kind businesses and cyclical or was is directly related to trump's "lack of expert" management"? I'd love to see evidence one way or another.

Donald Trump Net Worth 2018: Why the President'''s Fortune Fell | Money

and here's the actual reason from your link:

Forbes attributed the president’s decline in net worth throughout 2017 to a struggling retail real estate market and Trump’s polarizing brand. Within the last year, the value of Trump Tower — the 5th Avenue-based former home of the president in the center of the most expensive retail real estate in Manhattan — declined $41 million this year, Forbes estimated.

If trump wasn't such a race-baiting, polarizing asshole, he would not have experienced losses in either his fortune or his credibility. The bottom line, this is trump's own fault for being a total dick.

So Obama wrote some books, as many presidents, including trump do - how much money has trump made of his book deals? After being called on his bull**** about not taking a salary, trump finally donated his to charity, good for him. Obama served on corporate boards, earned speaking fees, etc. as many former presidents do, including the Bushes and Clinton. And yet you single out Obama. Hmmmm... I wonder why?

Great talk, by the way.

Because it's someone's property. In a land of laws, you don't get to carry out mob violence and destruction. If that's your preferred method of operation, I suggest partaking in the governments of other countries, not this one. But again, you undermined your own point. There is significant violence on the left, and you approve of it.

It was State property and worthless except for it's scrap value. The State will make money off that relic. As far as violence, I don't empathize with a hunk of metal but feel free to morn if you must. Better you should morn Heather from Charlottesville, a young woman with her whole life ahead of her and murdered by those "good" Nazi's you like so much.

I won't argue the finer points here but, safe to say, he was always a dick and it wasn't until he got into politics and became President that his being a dick hurt him.

Pretty sweet gig, eh? Walk out of the Presidency worth $20 mil for him being President. Now, if you are going to the emoluments clause for the Trump possibly getting some extra business for being the President then it for sure applies to Obama, who never woulda gotten such a big book deal if he wasn't President. However, the reality is that it only applies to just straight up gifts.

Ah...and now the pathetic dishonesty comes out, now that you've been exposed to supporting violence, which you previously denied, so long as it's something you agree with. Problem is that when you make something like that the norm, don't come crying if something gets destroyed that you take issue with. That's a two-edged sword.

The difference between you and me is that I stand on principle while you stand only on whatever ground that you've conveniently planted you flag on at the time.

Go ahead take your stand but these repulsive relics are going away anyway. Even statues need to die sometimes to make room for the new. Fighting it is a another "lost cause".

Oh look, someone who mindlessly defends slavers is trying to call literally anyone else an "animal". The irony is too funny.

I don't call "anyone else" an animal -- I call rapists "animals."

For some reason, you keep defending rapists and rape. Now, you have everyone wondering why you defend them so strongly. This is becoming more than just a little interesting. What is it that makes rapists so near and dear to your heart?

That's more than just a little concerning.

My exposure of your bull**** narrative has clearly got you rattled bud. Considering the fact that your precious slavers routinely raped slave women, your faux outrage simply doesn't hold water. Better luck next time.

Whoever rapes -- wherever -- is an animal. Slavers, soldiers, or anyone else. Animals. Let that sink in. ANYONE. Yet, we find you defending rapists and singing their praises.

Disgusting.

The principle of defending icons to slavery and Jim Crow is an interesting stand to take.

Correction: a statue commemorating those who fought to preserve slavery which was erected by white supremacists who supported Jim Crow.

And, yes, you would defend both, if that was the law today. We see that.

Something is missing from the psyche of those who would force others to forget and demonize their war dead. Something that's important to getting along with others in society.

Disgusting are monuments celebrating white supremacy.

They are not “war dead.” They are dead traitors who fought against the USA to preserve slavery, and the statues were erected by Jim Crow era White Supremacists. Don’t lie.

You keep repeating that like a toddler who just learned his first words, but it has absolutely no truth in it.

It’s 100% true; you are the one spinning it to be something it is not.

Of course they are war dead. They died in a war, didn't they?

They were soldiers with American descendants that still live today.

You don't have a clue as to how destructive your thinking it.

Not a clue.

They should put a statue of Obama in that spot.

Your hatred is palpable.

The Confederacy had nothing on you when it comes to hatred.

It's going to eat you up if you can't make peace with it.
**** the Confederacy.

Why can’t you say that? Like them, do ya?

Obama is no longer president. Duh

They were citizens of another country. With its own government. The Confederate States of America. And its own Army and Navy that fought against the Army and Navy of the United States, aka: the Union. Fought against the Constitution. CSA made war against the United States of America, which is what the USA has always been, is presently and shall continue to be.

Contemporary Rightwingers and other American Conservatives defend those citizens of another sovereign government and country. The alien and hostile citizens who fought against the Constitution. Contemporaries of the traitors preserve, protect, defend the traitors. The contemporaries celebrate the traitors, elevate them, memorialize 'em and venerate them. Worse yet, the contemporaries do not have the morality to know they are wrong and that the CSA was wrong. They are in fact aggressive in their own ways of being wrong, wrong, wrong.

So we see now the Confederate States of America should have been radically depopulated during the war. Sherman said war is hell but he turned out to be a *****. We needed Patton back then. Clear 'em out down there once and for all and for good. Citizens of another country making war against the USA that they were. Because now and since we have their descendants who extend the treason, i.e., they oppose the Constitution and they do it consistently. Descendants want to impeach the Supreme Court when they didn't like a decision, such as Brown v Board. The descendants in positions of power enact laws they like which are contrary to Brown v Board. Indeed, any and all oath taking since has always been false -- knowingly false and with every design to deceive, nullify, defy.

It's past time to clean up the mess. Long past time. We need to reconstruct the society. Remove the incorrigibles whose loyalty in the present remains elsewhere too. Do it by means of the Constitution that Union soldiers and their families fought, died, suffered to preserve, protect, defend.

They were citizens of another country. With its own government. .

And then they were Americans once again, and the nation tried to heal the hard feelings.

Now, here you come, picking off the scab and trying to re-fight the long-dead war all over again.

What a completely imbecilic thing to do.

But, haters gotta hate, I suppose.
