Protesters and federal agents clash during raid at Southern California farm

If we'd just 'cut the head off the snake' all this shit wouldn't be necessary. If no one hired them, they would come.
For sure.

But unfortunately there are always corporations who want to take advantage of people.

Removing their abilty to make profit helps everyone, and hurts all the businesses that depend upon abusing people, on a wide scale, not just one at a time.

I'm sure of it. And some of these are cartel members and other criminals.

Lol, they arrest people following the law on their to their court hearings.

For sure.

We see people crying about the exploitation of illegal labor, but never any support for the legal labor corporations exploit.

Can you do math? Illegal aliens currently count towards apportionment in every state. Every congressional seat represents approximately 780,000 constituent.

There are approximately 1.8 million illegal aliens in California. If you removed 1.8 million illegals from California the state would lose ~2 Congressional seats in the next apportionment.
I can, thanks. So we're assuming about the same for Texas then. I would read through this for some more insight.
:)

No. Why must it be one extreme or the other? Are you one of those folks who feel every one of them should be able to stay?

It makes the most sense. They are pillars of our economy. Why throw money away terrorizing them and their communities?

Because it's about power. Trump wants to use the violent response to his inhumane policy to take more power.

Major fines and prison time also hurts. I'm going out on a limb here that not one CEO would risk it, if it was aggressively enforced. Problem solved much faster and efficiently.

The problem is, cartels smuggle these people in for a price, including forged US documents for work.
What needs to happen is E-Verify needs to be mandatory to make sure people are not using fake SS#s and Greencards.

The law forced people to return runaway slaves. Where would you gave stood?

I would have stood on the side of abolishing slavery. You cheapen the horror of slavery by equating it to illegal immigration unless you are ready to agree with Trump that illegal aliens are all coming from shithole countries.

Your analogy falls apart because returning illegals to their home country is not the same as returning slaves to their masters. Returning illegals to their masters would be handing them back to their current employers.

You're dodging the question.

Returning runaway slaves is just like returning undocumented immigrants.

Both are the law, which is your motivation for returning undocumented immigrants.

Of course. Texas would also lose two seats due to loss of Illegal aliens... but they would then gain them back from the Californians fleeing California to settle in Texas. :)

Did you know that half the undocumented immigrants in this country did not cross the border illegally? They overstayed their visas.

No, it's not. How can you even come close to that equivalence?

Funny how you left this out.

"Both are the law, which is your motivation for returning undocumented immigrants."

Can you get that link?
Do you realize the Cartels are making billions on human smuggling?

You're dodging the question.

I'm not dodging the question, I am challenging the attempted equating of illegal aliens to slavery that is built into the question.

Returning runaway slaves is just like returning undocumented immigrants.

No it isn't because illegal aliens are not slaves. Which countries of origin for illegal aliens would you equate to a slave plantation?

No he isn’t, your potus is only rounding up the hard working illegal workers instead of the 20 million “invaders” you folks babbled about for 4 years because it was all predicated on lies.
I get that you believed the invader lies, because you called people illegal. It kinda shows your MAGA credentials.

Why do you think people should be called illegal?

Why do you defend these corporations who employ unpaid or underpaid labor?

Is it because your favorite orange president told you to?

Not all of them are.

You refuse to reveal your stance in returning runaway slaves.

That kinda says a lot.

Did you know that half the undocumented immigrants in this country did not cross the border illegally? They overstayed their visas.
And that gives them the right to stay? That justifies allowing cartels to make billions off human smuggling?

Both are the law, which is your motivation for returning undocumented immigrants.

The above line was added after I hit the reply button. The above statement is nonsense, Using the same logic You could also argue for violently attacking ATF agents because you disagree with the law.

You are trying to use Slavery as an emotional piton to hang your argument from while also cheapening slavery to the point that it can't support the weight of your argument.
