So now we have this to deal with. Bet you can't get to the end. I sure couldn't. Dude reads a Trump transcript. No wonder the White House doesn't give them out.

Why on earth is Biden in any way relevant to this kind of discussion? The President shows warning signs today. Deflecting to the previous President is counter-productive.

During Trump’s first presidential term, Democrats and the MSM repeatedly attacked his physical and mental fitness and even went so far as to call for invoking the 25th Amendment. When Biden was president, Democrats and the MSM attacked anyone who suggested that he was not physically or mentally fit to serve as president.

You want a conversation about Biden's mental capacity and presidency. Have at it.
Biden was old; he walked and talked like an old man; he wasn't very sharp .......... he was never the sharpest knife in the drawer; he had pretty painful arthritis in his neck and back; he stumbled; his son was not sharp; he used his dad's position to get a seat on the board of a gas conglomerate; he made an outrageous salary as a board member.

That's not accurate. A majority of the country thought he was too old to do the job, and plenty of people could see - and had pointed out - how impaired he was.

The Administration spun it as a stutter, or cheap fakes, etc so on and so forth, and the media attacked anyone who deviated from that narrative.

The debate was simply the point at which those who WANTED not to see suddenly found it a lot harder to do so, and *most* (remember the "it was just a cold" and "the darn staff worked him too hard by overpreparing him" nonsense?) stopped.

Biden was having "good days and bad days" by summer of 2021 - mere months into his presidency. Already staff were being told he couldn't handle or integrate new information that he didn't like.

Which explains how multiple senior generals were able to testify that the recommendation Biden had been given was to leave a couple thousand troops in Afghanistan, while he was able to angrily deny that anyone ever said that to him.

As best I can recollect, Trump has always been that way. (Though that "best" isn't very good, I do my best to avoid listening to lying narcissistic braggarts.) Which means that his current behavior isn't a matter of declining mental capacity. Biden was a very different matter, both in the fact and extent of his deterioration.

Mind, that doesn't mean there weren't plenty of reasons not to vote for Trump, just that deteriorating mental capacity wasn't one of them.

The 25th Amendment was mentioned as a result of Trumps action and inaction on Jan 6, 2021.

For good reason. You sure you want to go down this road?

The signs are there just as they where with Reagan. He admitted he could not remember authorizing sales of arms to the Contras.

Trump can't even tell the difference between wife number 2 and an adult film actess when presented with a picture.

This is, so we are told, a democracy.

Biden was the democratically elected president.

If he was not making the decisions, who was?
That would seem a worthy question to ask.

And since progressives like to say they are worried about threats to democracy from the Trump Admin, we should also wonder whether we had more serious threats to democracy from the Biden Admin.

The question to me is who "they" were. Many on the right are trying to say that "they" included the entire Democratic Party and all the media. I believe "they" only included a few insiders.

"They" definitely should have persuaded Biden to step aside.
