President Donald Trump delivered his second Inauguration Day speech on Jan. 20, when he previewed the steps his administration would take to unleash "the golden age of America," which stretched from locking down the border and streamlining the federal government through the creation of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

"From this day forward, our country will flourish and be respected again all over the world. We will be the envy of every nation, and we will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of any longer. During every single day of the Trump administration, I will, very simply, put America first," Trump declared at the start of his speech.

Prices going up due to ridiculous tariffs. Roller coaster stock market. Destroying government services with harebrained thoughtless cuts. Russian war not ended on day 1. Hawking cars on the White House lawn. Deporting American citizens. Looks like a complete clown show failure.

There's been no impact on my life, well until Trump turns all that power he's stolen under the guise of immigration control on the rest of us. Then it may hit me personally. But pretty much, no real change in terms of "security" as of now.

that doesn't mean other US citizens haven't been impacted and, the costs of taking care of 12 million illegals is enormous

and of course, the human/sex/kid/drug trafficking impacts everyone in some way, shape or form as well
