Project 2025 is dead

The director of Heritage Foundation’s controversial Project 2025 announced he would step down on Tuesday, drawing cheers from former President Donald Trump’s campaign which has worked to distance itself from the right-wing initiative.
Paul Dans told colleagues on Tuesday that he is leaving the project, The Post has confirmed.
“Friends and patriots, to everything there is a season. We completed what we set out to do, which was to create a unified conservative vision, bringing together over 110 leading organizations united behind the cause of deconstructing the administrative state,” Dans wrote in an email first obtained by Politico.
“President Trump’s campaign has been very clear for over a year that Project 2025 had nothing to do with the campaign, did not speak for the campaign, and should not be associated with the campaign or the President in any way,” Trump campaign senior advisers Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita said in a joint statement.
“Reports of Project 2025’s demise would be greatly welcomed and should serve as notice to anyone or any group trying to misrepresent their influence with President Trump and his campaign— it will not end well for you,” Wiles and LaCivita said.

Another one bites the dust, hey, hey!!
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Yeah, just a complete coincidence that so many of his former staff were involved in writing and compiling Project 2025
"former staff" is former.

and that you can go point by point through Trump’s published Agenda 47, the GOP convention agenda and Project 2025 and match them up.
That just means that Project 2025 incorporated Trump's agenda. It doesn't mean Trump has ever approved Project 2025.

You know it did not amount to anything. Why make such a big deal of it.
It was quickly dismissed.

Why was the Mayorkas impeachment dismissed?

They passed a motion declaring that the first impeachment article — accusing Mayorkas of failing to enforce immigration laws — “does not allege conduct that rises to the level of a high crime or misdemeanor” and “is therefore unconstitutional.” The party-line vote was 51-48, with Sen.Apr 18, 2024

Senate quickly votes to dismiss impeachment articles against DHS

Yes, dismissed by the Senate. Trump was not convicted by the Senate. Same body. But the House impeached them both.

We've literally been saying it's his agenda. What is even disputed at this point?
Just because Project 2025 incorporated Trump's agenda, that doesn't mean that Trump's agenda is Project 2025.

Do you need a Venn diagram?

Are you saying Trump supports everything in Project 2025 except the name?

Better question...why did the imbecile MAGAts in Congress make such a big deal of it??

"former staff" is former.
Yeah, because he got tossed out of office and doesn’t have a staff with any power 😂
That just means that Project 2025 incorporated Trump's agenda.
Psst….Agenda 47 was published AFTER Project 2025. Project 2025 started in April of 2022.

Trump announced his formal bid to become 47 in November 2022.

Jesus…at least let your posts demonstrate some basic understanding of the subject.

Project 2025 was in the works and Trump was going to espouse Project 2025 before he even officially announced his Presidency. He was at meetings with the authors and/or his people (former staff from prior to the US throwing him out of office) are the contributing authors. They ARE and/or networked with those who wrote the Mandate for Leadership that IS Project 2025’s written agendas.

If you’re going to talk about a topic, perhaps become informed on it.

JESUS ****ING CHRIST!!!

That's about the ****ing stupidest goddamned question I've ever heard you ask.

Go away.

I don't give a rat's **** about your opinion of the Post. If you want another source...find it yourself.

Bye.
Did not think you did.
My guess, MAGA media is all you read.
Right?]
A rat's ass want to know. 8

Project 2025 is dead

Sorry. That Pandora's box only needed to be opened once for it all to come spilling out. You might just as well try putting your toothpaste back in the tube. Trump is going to be brushing his teeth with Project 2025 right up until election day. But don't worry. After that, it will all very quickly become a faded memory.

Trump now officially hates the Heritage Foundation and Project 2025, because they are ruining his re-election chances. From the Washington Post. --

The right-wing policy operation that became a rallying cry for Democrats and a nuisance for Republican nominee Donald Trump is trying to escape the public spotlight and repair relations with Trump’s campaign.

Project 2025, a collaboration led by the Heritage Foundation among more than 110 conservative groups to develop a movement consensus blueprint for the next Republican administration, is winding down its policy operations, and its director, former Trump administration personnel official Paul Dans, is departing. The Heritage Foundation also recently distributed new talking points encouraging participants to emphasize that the project does not speak for Trump.

The former president has repeatedly distanced himself from Project 2025 after relentless attacks from Democrats using some of the 900-page playbook’s more aggressive proposals to impute them to Trump’s agenda since many of the proposals were written by alumni of Trump’s White House. While some participants in the project started avoiding interviews and public appearances, Trump advisers grew furious that Heritage leaders continued promoting the project and feeding critical news coverage.

Being extremely serious for a moment, the fact that "create a unified conservative vision, bringing together over 110 leading organizations united behind the cause of deconstructing the administrative state" resulted in Project 2025 tells me that the kind of thinking which led to it won't be leaving soon.

Even if the majority of the nation disagrees with them.

Hates them SO much, we all just heard us telling them that if they just vote for him ONCE…he will fix things so good they won’t have to vote again.

Yeah, sounds like Trump REALLY hates Heritage Foundation types. 🙄

(Oh, and chose one of their type as a VP.)

So what?

Are you trying to say that Trump took his issue from Project 2025? LOL!!

You'll need to provide some citation of that if you want to run with it.

When MAGA thought they had a lock on the election they popped out Project 2025. Now they are back peddling as fast as possible.
