There is much commotion over the wiretapping NSA has been doing to track down terrorist and whether or not it is an invasion of privcy of people within our borders. The left uses the privacy issues quite a bit creating the wall of privacy they assert we all have. The government should not be allowed to interfer or inquire into our privacy unless with a court order in a criminal case.

So it begs the question, why does the left support the income tax and the invasion of our privacy when we have to file taxes? We have to tell the government how much money we make, where we invest it, how much our investments make, how much we spend on medical care, how much we spend on education, how much we spend on our mortages and on and on and on.

If privacy is such an important issue to the left why do they support the current tax system?
