President Trump - Meet the Press... "No I will not do any executive orders to limit abortion"

No
You have been told he has flipped, so you repeat it.
He hasn't flipped at all. He said 5 years ago that it should be left up to the states, 4 years ago, 3 years ago, 2 years ago, last year and now again.
He just keeps saying the same thing - but the left media keep ignoring it and telling you he believes something else.

Think for yourself

nice factual documentation on trump's flip flops and contradictions on abortion. lol
maybe technically he doesn't "flip flop" since his word salads are so vague and stupid that you can't really conclude anything intelligent from them

You mean like in New York?
i dont know, i'm sure there are lots of interpretations in new york and all over the country.

but i assume you are agreeing with me that right wing judges can do "dirty work" for trump via favorable interpretations.

I take that statement to mean that will be one of the first things he does.

Also - "I am not interested in it" (further action to stop abortions)
Of course not good enough for the liberal reporter - "will you guarantee you wont?" (after now saying he won't twice)
"I can't guarantee there will be a tomorrow, no one can guarantee anything. Will something change this, I don't think so... I am not interested in it - no"

Will this ease Democrats hysteria?

No

Not gonna listen to him braying and will take your word for it.
However, the damage is done.

"some laws are too tough, but they will be redone" - that is not a flip whatsoever. The context was removed, of course, and you sucked it right up.
He was talking about some of the state laws were too tough, and should be changed.
He has no authority on it.

And neither is the Florida thing a flip. He has stated like 35 times he thinks it is too tough, then they took a remark he was saying about state rights in general - and applied that to what he said about Florida.

This article is a hit piece, and not a very good one.

READ: "Damn!... once again, and again, and again he keeps saying he isn't going to take any actions with abortion!!! So I will continue to ignore that, but repeat everything I hear about him attacking abortion"

He already acted.

"hit piece"? they quote trump over time. lol

the fact that he doesn't have authority on something doesn't mean he can't flip flop on his OPINION on something...correct?

but yes, given how his word salad rarely makes sense, its really hard to say he flip flops.

NBC News correspondent Garrett Haake asked Trump if he would take other measures against abortion rights besides an outright ban, specifically mentioning revoking access to mifepristone. Trump gave an open-ended answer.

“You could do things that will be—would supplement absolutely, and those things are pretty open and humane, but you have to be able to have a vote. And all I want to do is give everybody a vote, and the votes are taking place right now as we speak,” Trump said.

“Is that something you would consider?” Haake followed up.

lol. you can conclude anything you like from that rambling example of nothingness

“There are many things on a humane basis you can do outside of that, but you also have to give a vote, and the people are going to say …” Trump trailed off.

Trump is entirely transactional. Anything he says is based on his need at the moment. If his needs change, so does what he says.

correct, the only principle he has is "its all about me", after that, its all about "what can you do for me".

republicans used to be a party of principles which you could at least debate and agree or not agree with, now its "the church of what's happening now".

And I should take the word of a known and proven liar because…

But more importantly is his statement that things could change. Also, he is on public record to get justices in to reverse roe v Wade so that states could institute bans legally.

So, he is complicit. And opportunistic enough to try if it would be in his favor to do so.

Democrats are like chicken little running around in a circle fearing this and fearing that.
And those Dems you disparage where 100% correct when Trump filled the Court with justices who lied about there view on abortion.

History proves you are wrong

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have seen him, heard him. Turn off MAGA Media is my heartfelt advise.

hahaha - of course it won't help with their hysteria!

How can they be reassured by that?

They just saw how easily BIDEN broke his words - which he had uttered 9 times - by suddenly pardoning Hunter! 😁

Trump: promises given, promises kept.

Biden: promises are made to be broken.

trump kept his promises? lol

not exactly. lol.

hysteria? lol. vague weasel word.

given how much trump lies, yes, he should be pressed to guarantee something. but he wont. because he knows he lies so much.
Bwahahahahaha. You would only be satisfied the alleged liar “promises”? Sheesh.

lol, the irony after an entire campaign by republicans about fearing transgenders and invasions.
Between 2021 and 2024, the United States experienced the highest percentage of immigration than it ever has in its history. Over half of those violate US immigration laws. That’s a higher percentage that came in during the heyday of the early 20th century. And scale it up for the population.

its an "invasion"? how so? did illegals send their tanks across the border? did they capture texas? lol.

its just right wing semantics to try and get people afraid of the "brown invasion".

i am satisfied to point out that trump lies constantly, and his moron voters believe him.

he's going to lower prices at the same time he decimates our low cost workforce and adds tariffs? bwahahahahhahahaha

I for one am glad they did.

Courts are not supposed to MAKE Law, they are supposed to interpret it on a case-by-case basis.

No, it is up to the Legislative bodies to make law.
Overturning an unconstitutional law is not making law.
All SCOTUS did in the Dobbs case was to pass the issue back to where it should have been rightly determined, by State Legislative action.
"It's a state issue" is a dumb ****ing lie, you're not fooling anybody. You don't believe murdering children is a state's rights issue, and nobody thinks that you do.

Trump lies all the time: he’s flip-flopped half on half a dozen issues already and he hasn’t taken office. He even said “no guarantee”. Why should that ease people’s fears?

He’ll almost certainly sign any bill the GOP passes, though it’s unlikely they can. he’s already taken credit for the SCOTUS “ending” Roe v Wade.

The only part that is likely true is that he’s “not interested”. I believe he doesn’t care either way about the issue, until his party starts lobbying him to do it their way. Then he’ll do it because it’s what his base wants.

Because Trump doesn't have to do anything to put more restrictions on abortions. His DoJ will simply start enforcing the Comstock act. The plans for this are written in Project 2025. We already see the Texas AG suing some out of state doctor for providing mail order drugs to a woman in Texas.

Trump won't have to open his mouth about it. It's going to happen automatically.
