“I’d like to be pope,” Trump told reporters outside the White House. “That would be my number one choice.”

In response to Trump’s remarks, South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham jokingly wrote on X that he was “excited to hear that President Trump is open to the idea of being the next Pope.”

“This would truly be a dark horse candidate, but I would ask the papal conclave and Catholic faithful to keep an open mind about this possibility!” he wrote. “The first Pope-U.S. President combination has many upsides. Watching for white smoke…. Trump MMXXVIII!”

For a large sinner like Trump to say such a thing, even jokingly, is blasphemous. It will be interesting though to see some "Christians" defend such a poor taste joke.

If he wants to be baptized into the Catholic Church and take Holy Orders, I will be glad to bribe the necessary Catholic officials into letting him do so. I would be happy to bribe Cardinals into voting for him in Conclave.

He first resign the Presidency.

The Papacy lost control of the Vatican and the Church to the Cardinals a long time ago. I don’t think he’d like that arrangement very much.

There just gotta be so much gay porn blackmail restraining members of the GOP. To maintain their GOP seats, they have to all pretend to be alpha cis gendered males. There are copious amounts of role playing covering for their jobs that would be blown up if they were outed.
 
Trump would have to take out the veep first as he is a known Pope killer.

I've heard that Lindsey Graham had an underage pool boy as a lover, so that what might be the reason that he is so subservient to Trump.
