For the sole purpose of politics to boost his base, in complete disregard for the security and saftey of all Taiwan's citizens has declared in a soon to be signed executive order the dismantling of the National Unification Council.
Some misunderstanding is that the PRC claims Taiwan to be a renegade province. The reality is that Taiwan, the only remaining reminent of the former ROC which was the nationalist government of all of China claims the communist PRC to be a renegade government.
Now in a move that will indeed provoke the militant PRC, the corrupt president of Taiwan is putting the security of the entire island state at great risk, not to mention the security of the entire region.
