President Chaos flips again. Farm Workers will not be exempt from being deported.

If masked people with guns show up at your door claiming to be ICE, ask for their identification and badge numbers.

If they won’t give them, call 911 and tell the operator there are people with guns impersonating law enforcement trying to break into your house.

Everyone keeps posting this. What if they just break the door down anyway? Go around the back?

What if you're getting in your car? Already in your car (we've seen this scenario many times already)

At work? On the street? They're just grabbing people while they're saying they have ID, asking for ID, etc.

We see them accosting people and dragging them away. In chaos. And that chaos is intentional...it's harder to interpret body cams and video footage, understand what's being said, identify individual movements (assault), easier to claim resisting arrest, intimidate onlookers from interfering, etc etc etc. I used to lead conflict and mediation resolution training when I was a park ranger. Professionals "learn" to perform in that noise, shouting, movement, chaos...but it intentionally confuses and intimidates the suspects.

Governance by foolishness, TACO'ing, and general chaos.

So this is America under Trump. Escalating wars by nations basically ignoring Trump. Armed soldiers on the streets of America. Masked "police" entering premises illegally to make arrests. Punitive action against law firms, universities and institutions the Executive disagrees with. That is Trump's America.

If they break your door down and they don’t have a warrant or exigent circumstances, they are committing a felony. Same thing with breaking into your car.

Doesnt really help when you are sent off to another country without any form of due process or chance to even talk to anyone

Excellent points.

That means almost nothing to the undocumented people because they end up in custody, and with almost no recourse to any other redress.

If they do it to documented non-citizens...they will be jeopardizing their status to remain in the country.

If they do it to citizens, then there is legal bureaucracy and we're seeing that that is being swept under the rug...laws are currently being ignored. So they do have legal recourse but may end up waiting months or longer. For damage to vehicles, homes, assault charges, etc. It's even possible they'd suffer further police intimidation or threats if they were looking for family members.

They shouldnt be physically breaching/grabbing first, asking questions later.

Correction...

The warrent must be singed by a judge. In many cases that ICE showed a piece of paper without signature and they got in. Make sure the warrant is signed; otherwise has no value.

This actually raises the flag why ICE agents are not following the law themselves and have immunity from prosecution

There’s more consistency in a Ben Affleck relationship.

Then the only response will be “2nd Amendment remedies”.

You really should turn off the MSNBC once in a while.

So, Trump still can't beat Biden on inflation? Sad.

I'll borrow a common refrain from the GOP during the election run-up, though, when inflation was trending downward: "That's still 2.X% more! We want things back to 2019 price levels!".

A little digging on Stephen Miller.

This is cursory and if I feel so motivated I may investigate at deeper levels. It is NOT presented as definitive. Just that it is interesting.

Miller was born into a life of relative privilege to a family whose main source of income was real estate.

Set backs in the family economics caused a move to lesser economic station and placed Stephen in a local public school with a large Latin American student body.

This economic setback seems to coincide with Miller's ultra-"conservative" views and that, along with demanding that Spanish speaking students in his high school speak English at all times, didn't make him popular with this fellow students.

Whether any of this has anything to do with Miller's current stand on borders and immigration where it concerns immigrants of Latin extraction is pure conjecture and I acknowledge it as such. It simply makes for interesting reading given the totality of the circumstances involved and might, and I again I emphasize might, shed some personal historical perspective.
I bet his head ended up in the toilet a few times.
