President Biden Delivers Update on Russia and Ukraine Situation, February 22, 2022

If we levy all of our sanctions now, what should we do if Russia expands their invasion in a couple weeks?
They've already done the dirty, imo. There is no "further." It's done. No matter what Putin says in his make believe world, the Donbas IS part of Ukraine. If it weren't, Ukraine would not be fighting there to stop the secessionists since 2014.

Russians sure do make life incredibly complicated, at least they try to...but as someone already said, if it walks like a duck...

I think the bill for all the damage done by Chernobyl is once again due.
Chernobyl wasn't a Ukrainian nuclear reactor, it was a Soviet designed and built nuclear reactor, and it was built when Ukraine was a Soviet satellite.
I'd say the sum total for damages works out in the trillions.

So all Vlad has to do is pay the invoice in full and maybe we will reconsider SOME (not all) of the sanctions.

That's one scary map, @Checkerboard Strangler. People who talk about using tactical nukes deserve to have their hair fall out.
