PRATT, HAMMOND: The Facts Are In, And Doctors Are More Likely To Kill You Than A Gun

If ours is broken, then yours is totally ****ed.

Preventable Medical Error Is Canadian Healthcare's Silent Killer | HuffPost Canada

And Leftists want us to let the government run the medical system? I think not!...lol

Your thread. You claimed that medical malpractice is the third-largest killer of Americans, and got defensive about it in post number 3? Why would you do that?
Wait, I know. You just wanted to use that stupid "Ban doctors!" response so you concocted a chance to post it. Sorry, bud, that just takes the stupid "Ban cars!" meme to a new level of stupid.

Your derailing the **** of the thread with you bigoted, anti-United States bull****.

There is no **** of the thread. It's nothing more than you liking the phrase "Ban doctors!" and concocting a bull**** opportunity to use it. The purpose of starting a thread is to stimulate discussion and there's nothing to discuss here except that phrase.
This is what you wanted. I'm telling you that the phrase "Ban doctors!" is blatantly stupid.

Because YOU tried to blame it on USA doctors - and now you attack your own derailment attempt.

I've posted that before. Rather than ranting and wanting to study about guns, doctors should be ranting and studying about hospitals and themselves in terms of wrongful deaths.

Uh.....you know they do that already....dont you? Lol

I don't think anti-gun control advocates understand how silly these types of arguments make their side look. Or at least they should begin telling people on their side to stop using such silly arguments.

First, the obvious fact that these aren't the same things. There is absolutely no reason to suggest that the reasons that gun ban advocates would give for banning guns would apply to medical malpractice. With each, if you wanted to argue for a ban, you'd have to look at the positive effects of a ban vs the negative effects. The affects for a gun ban could be argued ad nauseum, but the affects of a doctor ban is readily obvious to anyone. Doctors are just without a doubt more essential to society. Anyone saying that they'd rather live in a country that bans doctors but has no restrictions on guns as opposed to a country that bans guns but has regulated and educated medical professionals is simply not thinking logically.

Second, I doubt that most people that support gun control (a large majority) support banning all guns. They merely support regulations. In the same way that most people support regulations on the medical community such as education and experience requirements, codes and standards that must be followed etc. Going straight to "ban doctors?" is the 4th grade argument on this topic.

I tried to blame US doctors? Can you understand simple words? Right there, under the headline in the OP, it says that medical malpractice is the third-largest cause of death in the US. That, Joko, is the OP, apdst, and the Daily Caller blaming US doctors. There's no other way to read it. Here, I'll remind you what the first sentence in the first post in this thread says...

"The facts are in, and doctors are more likely to kill you than a gun."

I'm just discussing the subject of the original post. The report apdst cited says...

"Reports indicate that these deadly medical errors are the third leading cause of death in America"

How in hell do you say this is me blaming US doctors when all I've done is quote, verbatim, what apdst posted? Never mind, I know what leads you to these bizarre, disconnected conclusions.

Unecessary deaths have different values?

Ducking and dodging your own message doesn't work. You blamed it on the American medical system.

Not ONE WORD of the OP says "the American medical system is the 3rd leading cause of death." Therefore, ADPST responded proving the single payer system of Canada is no better. You then claimed the topic YOU started is him derailing because he proved you wrong.

There is NON-STOP ranting against guns including on this forum - thousands, maybe tens of thousands - of messages. Non-stop actions by Democrats to ban guns - and they are increasingly doing so in Democratic states. But SILENCE on the vastly greater wrongful death killers - doctors and hospitals.

Opposition to firearms is NOT about lives. If the concern was about lives, there would be 3 times as much action, talk and ranting about reckless medical deaths. In MY opinion, it is about cowards who would never come to rescue anyone and people who lives such sheltered lives believing they are special so are certain of the hundreds of thousands of violence crimes each year they are so special they are immune. As cowards, they want an excuse to be totally apathetic towards everyone else. Their hatred of guns is SO rabid they literally oppose police being in schools to protect children - and instead what to put up signs advertising that the school is a "Free Child Killing Zone."

Man, your system is sooo broken...

He spoke of medical malpractice deaths - which you tried to just assert is caused by our medical system. He did not post anything about our medical "system."

Read the friggin' report, why don't you. I copied this sentence from the Daily Caller report cited in the OP...
"Reports indicate that these deadly medical errors are the third leading cause of death in America."
I'm done with you. Seriously. The OP flat-out stated that doctors kill more people than guns and cited a report that said medical mistakes are the third-largest killer in the US and you're still flapping your arms and foaming at the mouth that I would diss the American medical system like that.
Stay away from me until you start making more sense.
