A political party may align with your wants but not everyone will agree with those wants. But tomorrow the political platform could shift like it did in the Republican party and like it did in the Democrat party. Either way a political party never represents the entire nation. A political party always by design disenfranchises those not buying into their political platform. When our government has one party controlling all three branches of the Government that party will dictate their wants onto those not in their political party.
Take current politics for example, look at Trump and the Republicans they are positioning to take over the Supreme court. Make no mistake the Democrat party wants to do the same. The US Constitution proclaims that the justices
shall hold their offices during good behaviour. Bias in any form is not good behavior for any judge. Which means that the existence of political parties in the Supreme court is a Constitutional crisis.
I Agree... that's why I said... the YOUNGER Generation will come to those conclusions, as to the "tag line" comment on your post.
Long, Long Ago ... these separations came to be what created Political Parties, for a few reason...
(1). We had a
generally uneducated population...
~ (A). We had the Wealthy who wanted Business and Industry concerns
to be before Person and Community concerns.
~ (B). We had another group who wanted Person and Community concerns to be before Business and Industry concerns.
Each Group ... Developed into "Lobbying Factions"... better known as "Political Parties"
Each having an interpretation for their objectives, as to how they interpreted the PRINCIPLE of FACT as to why "THE PREAMBLE" was set forth, and the Articles of the Constitution was established. Their individual objectives skewed the base principle of unity.
That Unity was Principle in Value to ensure we have a COHESIVE means to achieve the Principles of what
The Declaration of Independence,
Declared; and
Uphold the Values,
The Preamble set forth. The Unity of No Party was to abide by The Constitutions Articles to ensure that we have a Republic Form of Representative Governance.
UNFORTUNATELY, these Parties... tried to set up to "corral the Majority Vote" to push their PARTY Agenda, Instead of simply supporting The Constitution for Person and Nation.
We saw in our generation, the bastardization to claim "Corporation" as if its "Person". That became a Tragedy that was and is more atrocious to the nation, that the early separations as listed above as (A) & (B).
Not only did Corporations and Industry have independent Lobbyist who had a Political Party to Promote their Agenda, The Other Party countered with Lobbyist to Promote their Agenda. Each then Developed "Caucuses" to decide policy and elect leaderships.
This long running game of pitting "Business and Industry" vs "Person and Nation" is where we find ourselves today.
The question the Youth WILL resolve will be...
~ (a) Persons and Nation, support and make Business and Industry Functions
~ (b) Business and Industry support Persons and Nation to Function
I think the young people as they are today, coming to learn... business and industry come and go, but "people remain".. without people, there is no business and there is no industry.
They have also witnessed the act of "Business and Industry" setting up "Offshore" and causing devastation to People and Nation, after people and nation invested to help grow and prosper the business and industry.
When People come first and Nation comes first, the Business and Industry serves the cause of the people by the peoples labors put into what business produce, market and sell.
Business and Industry, IGNORANCE Federal Laws... No longer do business abide by the principles of % of their business must purchase local to support the localized community they are housed. Today, business produce on foreign soil, so they have no obligation to purchase within their localized community, what they do purchase is minimal and often less than what can sustain their support to and for community.
Long ago, Business contributed back into communities in multiple ways, we saw it in the support of children programs, community centers and many other ways, including their banking and other matters that helps support community which in turn supported people. It was the People labor that gave the business the means to prosper.
This is a entangled mess, but now... the young people of today are far more educated than generations before them, they have seen the mess that business and industry has made and the devastation caused when policy supports industry above people.
